Blair Doubles Through Nichols

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

William Nichols raised to 26,000 and then called a three-bet to 80,000 by Eric Blair from one seat over. The flop fell {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Nichols check-raised for Blair to call all-in for the 281,000 he had at his disposal.

Eric Blair: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
William Nichols: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Blair had the best of it with broadway but needed to avoid the board to pair. He did so thanks to the {7-Clubs} turn and {6-Spades} river, sending Nichols to a short stack.

Foutty Gets Away from One

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Steve Foutty raised to 25,000 and a player in the cutoff called. Gary Cheng three-bet to 115,000 from the big blind and both Foutty and the cutoff came along.

The flop was {10-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Cheng bet 85,000. Foutty called and the cutoff got out of the way.

The turn was {8-Clubs} and Cheng continued for 177,000. Foutty went into the tank for a few moments before tossing his hand in the muck.

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Las Vegas Restaurants
Las Vegas Restaurants

Food options in Las Vegas are plentiful, including numerous spots inside the Rio or within a close proximity. Health-conscious poker players purchase meal plans from All-American Dave, a WSOP staple food truck that is back for the 2021 series.

Others choose the delicious but expensive Voodoo Steakhouse at the Rio, and then of course there are plenty of fast-food and fine dining choices all over town.

If you're looking for a little something different, a tasty spot that probably won't show up on many "best restaurants in Las Vegas" blogs but are deserving of inclusion, this article is just for you.

Peretz Takes From Valerstein

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Picking up the action on the {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} turn, Yaniv Peretz checked out of the small blind and then faced a bet worth 72,000 by Roman Valerstein. The call by Peretz followed and he checked again the {q-Diamonds} on the river. This time, Valerstein checked back and Peretz tabled the {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a pair of eights.

That was good enough to claim the pot as Valerstein sent his cards into the muck. Pavlo Veksler is the biggest stack on the table, which also features Dutch presenter Alberto Stegeman and John Gonzalez as well.

Mishra Wins Classic Race

Level 18 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Swadeep Mishra was on the button and had Paul Mattioda on the cutoff all-in and at risk for their 225,000 stack.

Paul Mattioda: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Swadeep Mishra: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The players were flipping with premium hands. The cutoff player was looking for high cards to survive, but the {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts} board ran out all low, sending him to the rail and giving Mishra his chips.
