Lonis Flips Nurmisto to the Rail

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Niki Nurmisto opened to 50,000 in middle position and Jesse Lonis three-bet to 225,000 from the small blind. The action was back on Nurmisto who shipped all in for around 350,000 and Lonis called.

Niki Nurmisto: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Jesse Lonis: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came {6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Lonis held his lead with a pair of tens. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn provided some chop outs but the {q-Spades} on the river gave Lonis the victory.

Last Pause of the Night

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

The players are now on their last break of the night. The clock shows 360 players left.

Here are some highlights of the previous two hours of play, including the elimination of the start of day chip leader and current WSOP POY leader.

Colillas Keeps Adding Chips

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On the river of a board {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, the big blind made it 250,000 to go and Ramon Colillas called from an early position. The camera spotlight was already on the Spaniard due to his massive stack, which now grew even further. In the latest showdown, the big blind tabled the {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for a pair of fives and Colillas claimed the pot with the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for the top pair.

Arbel Wins Two in a Row

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

On the tail end of a hand between Shai Arbel and Farhad Jamasi, the former bet 200,000 on the completed board of {k-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Jamasi called but couldn't beat the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} of Arbel.

Justin Liberto then raised from under the gun and Arbel three-bet in order to force a quick fold, flashing the {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for another premium hand.

Jensen Finds Kings for a Big Double

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Michael Jensen was seen taking in a huge pot after a double that brought him over 2 million in chips.

Jensen had risked around 950,000 with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} against an opponent showing {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

The board had run out {8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and the kings held to give Jensen one of the biggest pots of Day 4.

Jensen now sits above 2 million in chips after being one of the players that risked it all on the stone bubble at the end of Day 3.
