Millstein Doubles Through Moschonas

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Jacob Millstein moved all-in for 424,000 and was isolated by Aristeidis Moschonas on the button, who went over the top.

Jacob Millstein: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Aristeidis Moschonas: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Millstein flopped the top pair and top kicker on the {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop but the mandatory sweat came on the {j-Hearts} turn. However, Millstein prevailed as the {a-Clubs} rolled off on the river to secure his double up.

Plante Eliminated by Luo

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Following an open raise to 48,000 by Robert Cowen and two calls, Santiago Plante jammed for around 445,000 in the big blind. He earned two folds but Chang Luo called on the button.

Santiago Plante: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Chang Luo: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

"Good luck," Plante wished to his opponent and Luo spiked top set on the {9-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop. The {a-Spades} turn gave Plante a flush draw but the miracle never happened on the {8-Hearts} river.

Joseph Coolers Tang in Level One

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

It only took a couple of preflop raises for Ricky Tang and Jeremy Joseph to get all of their chips in the middle. Tang started the hand with just over 1,000,000 chips and thought he would be in a good position to double up with {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}. However, Joseph flipped over {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Tang was in need of some help.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Joseph held firm with his pocket aces. The {8-Clubs} on the turn and the {4-Hearts} on the river changed nothing and Tang was eliminated in the opening level.

Kaplan Folds a Full House

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Picking up the action on the river on a board of {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades} with around 250,000 in the pot, Patrick Wall led into Matthew Kaplan with a bet of 175,000.

Kaplan responded with a raise to 400,000 and Wall in turn responded by re-raising all-in with his opponent covered.

"This is going to be the second full house I lay down in two days," Kaplan said as he contemplated calling off with his last 560,000. "I'm going to be in the tank for ten minutes, boys."

Kaplan took less time than that before he held up {8-}{8-} and tossed his cards in the muck. Wall did not show.

Song Ends Biles' Main Event Run

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

With his stack under ten big blinds again, Oliver Biles looked down at {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and went for it. Stephen Song looked the former PokerNews host up from the cutoff with {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

The flop came down {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} to add a gutshot Broadway draw along with the overcards as outs The {7-Hearts} on the turn added a flush draw on top of it, but the {7-Spades} river bricked all of those. Biles' Main Event dream came to an end in 276th place, worth $38,600.

Favorable Flop for Weissman

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Joey Weissman and Robert Cunha had all of their chips in the middle on the flop of {9-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}. Weissman was the player at risk for 378,000 and flopped the best hand as well.

Weissman turned over {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for trip deuces against the {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} of Cunha. The {q-Spades} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} on the river secured the double up for Weissman.

Boat Over Boat Busts Gouveia

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

With about 500,000 in the pot and a completed board of {k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, Elilton Gouveia bet 350,000 in the big blind. Roman Hrabec thought about it and jammed on the button to cover Gouveia, and Gouveia quickly called as the players revealed their hands.

Elilton Gouveia: {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Roman Hrabec: {j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Both players had boats as the last two cards brought the last two nines in the deck, to the fortune of Hrabec and misfortune of Gouveia, who is now busted early in the day.

"That's a tough one, huh?" Gouveia said as he made his way to the payout desk.

Dzivielevski Wins Race to Double Through Lahmani

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante
Yuri Dzivielevski
Yuri Dzivielevski

A series of preflop raises saw Yuri Dzivielevski get his 756,000 stack in the middle from the small blind and Oshri Lahmani called from late position.

Yuri Dzivielevski: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Oshri Lahmani: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

It was a classic race that saw Dzivielevski take the lead after the {10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop paired his king but it also gave Lahmani a gutshot straight draw.

Luckily for Dzivielevski, the {9-Spades} paired the board on the turn and the {7-Hearts} river secured his double-up.

Hagstrom Takes Out Harris

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

The action folded around to the blinds and Jonas Hagstrom raised it from the small blind. Jameel Harris shipped all in from the big blind and Hagstrom quickly called.

Jameel Harris: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
Jonas Hagstrom: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Hagstrom held a commanding lead and the flop of {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} left it that way. Neither the turn or the river would provide help for Harris who was sent to the payout desk.

Hagstrom Wins Some Off Ragozzini

Level 21 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Two players saw a flop of {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} with Sean Ragozzini checking from under the gun. Jonas Hagstrom bet 40,000 from the cutoff. Ragozzini check-raised to 130,000 and Hagstrom called.

Both players checked the {2-Diamonds} turn and the {9-Diamonds} river for Ragozzini to table the {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Hagstrom had that beat with {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and that won the pot.
