Hoang Gets Some Chips Back

Level 20 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

In one hand, John Hoang raised on the button and Andrew Kelsall called in the small blind.

The flop gave {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Kelsall check-called another bet from Hoang. On the {q-Clubs} turn however, Kelsall opted to check-fold this time and Hoang added the chips to his stack.

A few hands later, the flop showed {q-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Spades} in a raised pot when Hoang check-called a bet from Brian Kim situated on the button.

The {10-Diamonds} turn went check-check and a {10-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Hoang bet and Kim called, but only to muck when he saw {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} in Hoang's hand for two pair.

Ian Johns

Ian Johns raised in the cutoff and Michael Rocco three-bet in the blinds. Johns responded by a four-bet and Rocco called.

All the chips went in the middle on the flop {5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Rocco check-raised a bet from Johns and the latter called all-in with his last chips:

Ian Johns: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Michael Rocco: {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Rocco had hit trips and the {9-Diamonds} river didn't change anything for Johns, who made his way to the exit.

Vo Falls Down in the Counts

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Lyly Vo raised on the button and Gabe Ramos re-raised in the small blind. Vo called and they went to see a flop {3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Ramos bet and called a raise from Vo.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} and both checked before a {9-Clubs} landed on the river. Ramos check-called a bet from Vo, who revealed {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Ramos tabled {a-Spades}{3-Spades} and won the pot with ace-high.

A few moments later, Ramos raised and Vo called in the big blind. The flop fanned {6-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Vo check-called Ramos continuation bet. The same action happened on the {10-Spades} turn.

The river was the {q-Clubs} and both checked. Vo tabled {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} but the pot was sent to Ramos who had {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Vo was left with only 25,000 chips left after that hand.

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

In a raised pot, the flop was {8-Spades}{a-Spades}{k-Spades} when Jeremy Ausmus checked in the big blind. Daniel Dangoor bet and faced a raise from Ausmus, putting him at risk for his tournament's life. Dangoor put his last chips in the middle and they tabled their cards:

Daniel Dangoor: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
