Brent Mutter Eliminated in 16th Place ($7,500)

Level 19 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Brent Mutter
Brent Mutter

In a three-bet pot, the flop read {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{k-Clubs} when Brent Mutter bet from the small blind and Shaun Deeb called.

Things heated on the {9-Diamonds} turn. Mutter bet again and Deeb raised. Mutter called all in for his last chips for the following showdown:

Brent Mutter: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Shaun Deep: {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Mutter was in desperate shape for the double up, facing a pair of kings for Deep, and found no help on the {q-Diamonds} river to make his way to the payout desk.

Ray Henson Eliminated in 17th Place ($7,500)

Ray Henson was under the gun and called the blinds. Zachary Grech was in the hijack and raised, the blinds folded and Henson called for the remainder of his chips.

Ray Henson: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}
Zach Grech: {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and with the missed straight draw and no pair on board, Grech's pocket deuces were good to take the pot and knock Henson out of the tournament in 17th place.

Ausmus Chips Up on Mutter

Level 18 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Daniel Dangoor raised in the cutoff and Brent Mutter three-bet on the button. Jeremy Ausmus called in the blinds and Dangoor followed.

The flop appeared {j-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and it checked to Mutter who bet. Ausmus opted to raise and Mutter called after Dangoor got out of the way.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and Mutter called another bet from Ausmus. Both checked on the {10-Hearts} river and Mutter tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. The pot was sent to Ausmus who held {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for a pair of queens to climbto a stack above the million mark.

Koray Aldemir Eliminated in 18th Place ($6,174)

Level 18 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Koray Aldemir
Koray Aldemir

Michael Rocco was in the small blind, Andrew Kelsall in the big blind and Koray Aldemir in the cutoff. Aldemir raised all in for 50,000 and both of the blinds called.

The flop was {j-Spades}{8-Spades}{q-Spades} which Rocco checked. Kelsall bet in to the side pot and Rocco called.

Rocco checked blind and the turn came a {j-Clubs} which Kelsall bet and received another call from Rocco.

The river was a {2-Diamonds} which Rocco checked and Kelsall bet but Rocco didn't call, so Kelsall won the side pot.

Cards went up for the main and Kelsall showed {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} for two pairs, aces and jacks. Aldemir showed his hand {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, but it was not enough to beat Kelsall and he exited the tournament in 18th place.

Johns Puts Aldemir Into a Decision

Level 18 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

The action was picked up on a board that read {2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Hearts} with a pot already containing around 160,000. Ian Johns sent a bet in the middle and Koray Aldemir thought about his action for a while before eventually folding his hand reluctantly.

Vo Takes from Deeb

Level 18 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Lyly Vo raised under the gun and found a call with Shaun Deeb in the big blind.

The flop fanned {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades} and Deeb check-called Vo. When the {a-Hearts} landed on the turn, Deeb quickly check-folded this time after another bet from Vo.

Henson Catches Lancaster in Bluff

Level 18 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante
Ray Henson
Ray Henson

Ray Henson and Mike Lancaster were once again in a heads-up battle with Henson in the big blind and Lancaster under the gun. The flop came down {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} to which Henson check-called Lancaster.

A {3-Clubs} showed up on the turn to which Henson check-called Lancaster again.

On the river was a {2-Spades} which Henson checked. Lancaster bet and sent Henson into the tank for a minute before he finally called. Lancaster flipped over {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for king-high and Henson showed {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Lancaster said "Don't write that one down!" and the table laughed.
