Rocco Keeps Building, Has Hellmuth Fuming

Michael Rocco and Phil Hellmuth built a pot of around 50,000 before the draw and each took one.

"Is it too greedy to ask for a four?" Hellmuth asked as he put out another bet of 25,000. Rocco quickly called.

"Good call," Hellmuth said, turning over a pair of sixes. Rocco had ten-eight to win the pot.

"Look what they call 25,000 with. What is going on here?" Hellmuth vented as the big pot was pushed in Rocco's direction.

Schneider Takes an Early Hit

Tom Schneider began the day with a top-five stack but has already lost a quarter of his chips within the first 30 minutes of Day 2.

In his last hand, Schneider raised to 4,500 and received calls from Dan Zack and Steven Wolansky. All three players took one and Schneider checked.

Zack checked behind and Wolansky bet out 16,000. Schneider quickly called and Zack mucked as Wolansky showed eight-seven to take the pot from the 2007 Player of the Year.

Livingston Catches Bad Against Dzivielevski

Alex Livingston raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and was called by Yuri Dzivielevski in the big blind.

Each player drew one, then after a bit of deliberation, Dzivielevski led out for 23,000.

Livingston told Dzivielevski "I guess I could bluff raise", then tossed a straight of to the muck face up, as the chips were pushed to his Brazilian opponent.

Kassela Picks Off Foxen

Frank Kassela raised to 6,500 from under the gun and Alex Foxen defended from the big blind.

Foxen took one, then put out a bet of 26,000. Kassela went into the tank for about a minute before calling.

Foxen showed a pair of nines for a bluff, while Kassela showed jack-ten-seven to win the pot.

Hui Chips Up Through Chip Leader

Phillip Hui raised to 5,000 in the hijack and was called by Ian O'Hara in the cutoff, Jonathan Aguiar in the small blind, and Kevin Gerhart in the big blind.

Aguiar and Gerhart each drew two, Hui stood pat, and O'Hara drew one.

Action checked around to O'Hara, who cut out a bet of 30,000.

The blinds folded and Hui called.

O'Hara showed for a pair of deuces, while Hui picked off his bluff with , moving his stack over 100,000 after starting the day with one of the shortest stacks in the room.

Phil Hellmuth raised to 5,000 from the cutoff and Louis Abronson called on the button. From the small blind, Roman Hrabec asked how much Hellmuth was playing behind before three-betting to 20,000.

Hellmuth called while Abronson quickly got out of the way. Hrabec took one, while Hellmuth discarded a queen.

After the draw, Hrabec announced he was all in, covering Hellmuth's remaining 22,500.

"Oh, I made a big hand here," Hellmuth said before shoving the rest of his stack in the middle and showing . Hrabec mucked his ten-low and the defending champion and 16-time bracelet winner doubled up.

Kassela Takes Out One, Abronson Triples

Louis Abronson shoved all in for his last 15,000, Antonin Teisseire moved in for 30,000, and Frank Kassela called to put both players at risk. All three took one.

"Tell me I'm not drawing dead," Abronson said as Kassela showed nine-eight.

"Nine-seven," Abronson announced as he made . Teisseire showed a pair of threes and the French bracelet winner was eliminated, while Abronson tripled up.

"Alright, I get to play one more hand," he added after the hand.
