Spencer Gets Value

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Action started with Lewis Spencer raising to 5,500 from under the gun. Both of the blinds called.

The flop fell {4-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}.

It was checked to Spencer and he bet out 8,500. The small blind folded, but the big blind called.

An {a-Diamonds} on the turn saw the big blind take the betting lead, with a bet of 5,000. Spencer elected to call to see the river.

On the {10-Diamonds} river, the big blind bet 10,000. Spencer then raised to 35,000, leaving himself only 23,000 behind. The big blind paused for a second, before making the call. Spencer tabled his {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} for top two pair and the big blind mucked his hand.

Ausmus Applies Pressure

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The pot was 11,000 on the flop of {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Jeremy Ausmus bet 2,500 from under the gun and only the big blind called.

On the {2-Spades} after his opponent checked, Ausmus continued for another 9,000. Once again, the other player called for nearly half of his stack, taking it to the river.

When the {q-Diamonds} completed the board, it was checked a third time to Ausmus, who quickly bet enough to put the player at risk all-in.

After a long pause, he let it go, and Ausmus added to his stack.
