Coleman Doubles as Two Big Lows Crash

Level 18
Maxx Coleman
Maxx Coleman

2-7 No Limit Single Draw

Maxx Coleman had placed a bet from out of position of 15,000. Brad Ruben raised it up to 60,000. Coleman considered his options before going all in for 118,000 total.

Ruben thought for about two minutes trying to put his opponent on a range. "Value shoving with an eighty-seven?"

Ruben eventually called and saw his opponent had better than that.

Coleman had {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} for number three and Ruben showed he had {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} for number seven.

Set Over Set in Limit Hold'em

Level 18

Limit Hold'em

Action was on a {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop with Drew Scott check-calling a bet from Josh Tabak.

The turn was the {4-Spades} and Scott check-called a bet.

The river {7-Clubs} saw Scott check and Tabak bet once more. Scott check-raised and Tabak called.

Tabak tabled {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a rivered set, with Scott flashing {4-}{4-} on its way to the muck.

Klimczak's Wins with a Better Eight

Level 18

Razz

Faith Klimczak: {x-}{x-}/{4-}{7-}{k-}{2-}/{x-}
Steven Wolansky: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{4-}{8-}{7-}/{x-}

Steven Wolansky bet third street and Klimczak came along as the only caller. The same story unfolded on both fourth and fifth streets, Wolansky bet and Klimczak called again.

On sixth street, though, Wolansky checked when Klimczak picked up the {2-}. Now Klimczak bet and Wolansky called.

Seventh was dealt and Wolansky checked again. Klimczak checked behind.

"Seven, smooth," said Klimczak, as she showed {k-}{q-}{7-}{4-}{3-}{2-}{a-}.

"Yeah, your seven is better," said Wolansky.

"I missed a bet," said Klimczak, but she still took down the nice-sized Razz pot.

Balan Gets the Last of Livingston's Chips

Level 17

Omaha 8 or Better

Alex Livingston was down to his last 10,000 and put them in the middle pre-flop. "This is it, guys. I'll take it right here," he said.

Michael Balan raised and Dylan Smith called from the big blind. The flop came {6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and Smith led out.

Balan raised again and Smith quickly got out of the way. Balan turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Livingston had {k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

The board ran out {10-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Balan scooped the pot with his pair of aces. Livingston wished the table good luck before making his exit.

Ono Says, "Oh, Yes" on the Final Draw

Level 17

2-7 Triple Draw

Action picked up on the final draw with about 53,000 in the pot. Tomomitsu Ono had just put all his chips in the middle and Adam Friedman decided to call to put Ono at risk.

Friedman stood pat and watched as his opponent decided to draw one card.

"Oh, thank god," said Friedman as he turned over {q-}{j-}{8-}{3-}{2-}.

His tournament life depending on the last card, Ono showed {8-}{6-}{3-}{2-} and needed a non-pairing queen or lower to stay alive. The {9-Hearts} was just what he needed as he double through Friedman.
