Gamble Makes No. 2

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Tommy Brown limped in from the button, the small blind called, and Natham Gamble checked his option.

Brown and Gamble took three, while the small blind took two. Action checked to Gamble after the draw and he bet.

Both opponents called and he took one, while Brown drew two. A bet this time was enough to get rid of the small blind, while Brown stuck around and stood pat.

Gamble also stood pat and bet, with Brown calling.

"I should win this one," Gamble said before turning over {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for No. 2.

"Bakes" Forces Out "ODB"

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

David "ODB" Baker and David "Bakes" Baker happen to find themselves sitting beside each other on table #101. Their first pot against each other went in the way of "Bakes."

"Bakes" had a bet of 5,000 in front of him on the button with the flop showing {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. "ODB", in the small blind, raised to 11,000 and "Bakes" called.

Both Bakers checked the {2-Spades} turn before "ODB" again checked on the {6-Diamonds} river. "Bakes" took the opportunity to throw out a bet of 17,000, sending his namesake into the tank for several minutes before he decided to fold.

"David Baker on David Baker violence," "ODB" said following the hand.

"At least it stayed in the family," "Bakes" replied.

Leng Cracks Set With a Royal Flush

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Ryan Leng
Ryan Leng

Pot-Limit Omaha

"Oh my God," a player at Ryan Leng's table was heard yelling as he stood up from his seat in disbelief.

Holding {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades}, he had gone all in on a flop of {7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, giving him top set. The defending champ called with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for aces and a royal flush draw.

Any hope Leng's opponent had in the hand was completely dashed when the {q-Diamonds} appeared on the turn, completing Leng's royal flush. The river was an inconsequential {5-Hearts} as the stacks were counted down and Leng's opponent was left with 200 chips, while Leng doubled up.

"Now I see how you won the bracelet," David Lu said after the hand.

Weinman Survives with Bigger Flush

Daniel Weinman
Daniel Weinman

Seven Card Stud

Daniel Weinman: {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} / {9-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Jon Kyte: {10-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} / {j-Spades}{10-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

Daniel Weinman and Jon Kyte battled in a three-way hand that turned heads up on seventh street. Weinman had just 1,300 chips behind, and Kyte threw out the final bet.

Weinman checked his cards one last time and made the call, with both players turning over a flush. Weinman's flush was queen-high hearts, just beating Kyte's jack-high spades to survive and more than double up.

Campbell Fills Up Against Dzivielevski

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Seven Card Stud

Robert Campbell: {x-}{x-}/{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}/{x-}
Yuri Dzivielevski: {x-}{x-}/{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}/{x-}

Dzivielevski came back with a raise before Campbell re-raised. The Brazilian quickly called.

Campbell showed {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a full house, fives full of jacks, as Dzivielevski mucked to hand the big pot to the 2019 Player of the Year.
