Allen Kessler

Seven Card Stud

Allen Kessler: {x-}{x-}/{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{k-Diamonds}/{x-}
Robert Wells: {x-}{x-}/{8-Clubs}{a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}/{x-}

Allen Kessler completed and was called by Robert Wells before both players checked on fourth and fifth streets.

Wells made a pair of nines on sixth and bet. "Do you have more than nines," Kessler asked as he called for his last 48,000.

Wells showed {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for straight and flush draws, while Kessler had {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a pair of kings.

Wells turned over the {6-Spades} on seventh to complete his straight.

"I'm dead," Kessler said before turning over a {2-Hearts}. "Why couldn't you give me the six and him the deuce."

Dirksen Survives on the River

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Dustin Dirksen shoved his last 85,000 from middle position and Meikle Partin called in the small blind.

Dustin Dirksen: {k-Spades}{2-Spades}
Meikle Partin: {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

Dirksen was dominated and fell further beyond when the {j-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop gave Partin a pair of jacks.

Dirksen was already standing up with his backpack on as the {4-Diamonds} came on the turn. "Three ball," he called for and got his wish as the {3-Clubs} on the river completed his straight.

"I'm not stopping until I get 17,000,000," he yelled as he sat back down.

The next hand, Dirksen was all in again with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} against Bruno Fitoussi's {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and doubled up once more as the board ran out {9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Spades}.

Both players took one and Park check-called a bet. Dirksen stood pat on the last draw while Park took one more.

Park check-called another bet. "You have a ten, right," Dirksen asked as he showed a nine-eight-seven.

Demersseman Emerges From Turn Raising War

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Action folded to Yehuda Buchalter in the small blind who raised to 27,000. Adam Demersseman called and they saw a flop of {9-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

Buchalter continued for 40,000 and Demersseman called. The turn came the {10-Clubs} and Buchalter slowed down and checked.

Demersseman took the opportunity to put out 70,000. Buchalter went into the tank for about two minutes before emerging with a raise to 200,000.

Now it was Demersseman's turn to tank for a few minutes until he slid forward a tower of green 25,000 chips for a bet of 500,000, more than Buchalter had remaining.

Buchalter now thought about this decision for a few minutes before folding, saying he had ace-king. Demersseman said he had queen-nine for two pair.

"We took 13 minutes off the level," Demersseman said after the lengthy hand.
