Burkholder held the nut flush draw along with a nine-eight low. The turn
and river
saw Gregg river a nine-high straight, as well as making a better low and he tapped the table as Burkholder was sent to the rail.
There was no miracle escape for Cary Katz with his severe short stack and he was eliminated right after the action resumed. The same also applied for Chad Eveslage as well.
In the meanwhile, Brandon Cantu and Jonathan Cohen became the final two entries and the late registration for the event now appears closed.
