Kyriakides Rivers the Nuts and Gets Paid

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Miltiadis Kyriakides bet the heads-up flop of {j-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} when checked to and made it 2,600 to go, his sole remaining opponent called. Both checked the {3-Clubs} turn and the {q-Spades} river completed the board. The small blind check-called a pot-sized bet worth 9,100 and mucked when the PLO specialist from Cyprus showed his {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} for the nuts.

Kabrhel Talks His Way to A Fold

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

The ever-talkative Martin Kabrhel was recently involved in a pot with Vivian Saliba, where 14,000 was in the middle on a turn board of {5-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

From the small blind, Kabrhel was playfully talking to Saliba, inquiring about the strength of her hand. "You have kings? Be a man, tell me, kings?"

Kabrhel then put his trademark hippopotamous card protector in front of Saliba before betting 8,000.

"She's folding, write it down," said Kabrhel to the PokerNews live reporting team.

Saliba did indeed fold, sending the pot to the two-time Czech bracelet winner

Liu Eliminated by Greene

Just before the blinds went up, the board showed {q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Sasha Liu bet 8,000 out of the big blind with a shorter stack behind. Jonathan Greene then raised the pot by tossing in several T-5,000 chips and that sent Liu into the tank.

Arthur Morris eventually called the clock on her and the floorman arrived with two minutes left in the level. With thirty seconds running down, Liu called it off and was shown the {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a full house as her {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades} for kings and queens was no good.
