Marin Gets Sticky With a Jack

Level 26

Razz

Richard Tatalovich: {x-}{x-}/{2-}{4-}{j-}
Roberto Marin: {x-}{x-}/{j-}{4-}{k-} - folded fifth street
Perry Friedman: {x-}{x-}/{a-}{3-} - folded fourth street
Tomasz Gluszko: {x-}{x-}/{k-} - folded bring-in

After Perry Friedman just called Tomasz Gluszko's bring-in, Richard Tatalovich completed. Yarron Bendor and Gluszko folded out of turn before Roberto Marin had acted, showing a jack.

Marin opted to call, as did Friedman from his dwindling stack.

On fourth street, everyone caught what appeared to be good cards, but after Tatalovich bet, it was only Marin who called.

On fifth, both remaining players caught paint, but Tatalovich bet again and received an annoyed fold from Marin.

Tatalovich WIns Razz Battle

Level 26

Razz

Richard Tatalovich: {7-}{5-}{2-}/{4-}{a-}{a-}{k-}
Kristan Lord: {3-}{2-}{a-}/{5-}{j-}{10-}{j-}

Kristan Lord completed showing a five and Richard Tatalovich called with a four.

"Alright, let's see who wins fourth," said Tatalovich. "I shouldn't say that, every time I say that I get a king."

Tatalovich hit an ace after his speech and bet. Lord made the call.

Tatalovich wasn't thrilled to see another ace on fifth, but he still bet, Lord again made the call.

On sixth it was Lord that hit a pair, but both players checked.

Tatalovich did bet seventh and sent Lord into the tank. After about a minute of thinking, he made the call.

Despite both less-than-stellar runouts, Tatalovich made a seventy-five to take it down.

Friedman Doubles Through Tatalovich

Level 26
Perry Friedman
Perry Friedman

Omaha 8 or Better

Richard Tatalovich raised in middle position and was called by a short-stacked Perry Friedman in the big blind.

On the {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop, Friedman led out for the last of his 220,000 chips he started the hand with. Tatalovich called to put Friedman at risk.

Perry Friedman: {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Richard Tatalovich: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Tatalovich had a gutshot Broadway draw and a backdoor low draw, while Friedman was ahead with his pait of kings.

The {6-Diamonds} on the turn brought Tatalovich his potential chop outs, but the {k-Hearts} on the river sealed the double-up for Friedman.

Marin Adds More, Bendor Trending Wrong Direction

Level 26
Roberto Marin
Roberto Marin

Omaha Eight or Better

Action started on the flop of {3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Roberto Marin checked the small blind and Yarron Bendor bet from the big blind. Richard Tatalovich folded the button, but Roberto Marin called in the small blind.

On the {q-Spades} turn, both players checked it through.

The river landed the {k-Diamonds}, and Marin would be checking no more. He bet and was quickly called by Bendor.

Marin showed {q-Clubs}{10-}{9-}{2-} for a full house that ran down the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} of Bendor.

Kristan Lord and Richard Tatalovich both called before Roberto Marin completed. Both other players called to go three ways to fourth.

Marin again bet when checked to, both Tatalovich and Lord called again.

On fifth street, Marin fired again, Lord let his hand go, but Tatalovich called.

Tatalovich called bets on sixth and seventh as well before Marin announced his hand.

"I've got trip fives," showing his rolled-up fives for the scoop.

Tomasz Gluszko: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}/{2-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Yarron Bendor: {x-}{x-}/{a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} - folded fifth street

After Yarron Bendor completed, Tomasz Gluszko defended his bring-in.

On fourth street, Bendor bet and was called, and he bet again on fifth. Gluszko then raised him on the first big bet round, sending Bendor briefly into the tank.

"Nice try buddy, I'll show you," said Gluszko as Bendor pondered his decision.

"You'll show me you have a club draw," replied Bendor just before he folded.

Gluszko kept his word and showed his opponent {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} in the hole as he dragged a pot that put him over the three million chip mark.

Tomasz Gluszko: {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}/{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{q-Clubs}{k-Clubs}/{3-Diamonds}
Perry Friedman: {x-}{x-}/{2-Spades}{5-Hearts} - folded fourth street

Action began on fourth street with Richard Tatalovich betting when he hit an ace. Tomasz Gluszko called, Perry Friedman folded. On David Bach, he put in the second bet. Both Tatalovich and Gluszko called.

Players checked to Bach who bet again on fifth street. This time Tatalovich folded, but Gluszko called again.

When Gluszko hit a third club on sixth street, Bach checked. Gluszko decided to bet, and Bach called.

Seventh dealt down, Bach called a final bet from Gluszko, only to see the made flush of Gluszko and was left with less than one big bet.

The next hand, Bach was all in in a four-way pot and made a straight, but Kevin Gerhart hit a full house to send the chip leader at the start of the day out the door in ninth place.

Richard Tatalovich: {2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}/{a-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Yarron Bendor: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}/{k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}
Perry Friedman: {x-}{x-}/{7-Hearts}{9-Spades} - folded fourth street

After Yarron Bendor completed, Perry Friedman called and Richard Tatalovich defended his bring-in.

On fourth street after pairing his queen, Bendor bet out, Friedman folded and Tatalovich called.

On fifth street, with Tatalovich now showing three diamonds on board, Bendor checked and Tatalovich now bet.

Bendor called, then checked sixth street with Tatalovich now picking up a fourth board diamond.

Tatlovich bet again and Bendor called.

The players each checked seventh street, with Bendor showing two pair, queens and sixes, while Tatalovich showed a maybe unexpected holding of a better two pair of aces and threes, with no flush.

Still, it was the best hand and earned him another sizable pot as he makes a move toward the chip lead.
