Delvecchio Sends One to the Rail

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Just before the players went on break in the previous level, there was a raise to 3,500 in the cutoff. The small blind three-bet to 12,000 and Michael Delvecchio four-bet to 26,500 in the big blind. The cutoff quickly folded while the small paused for a moment before shoving all in for around 86,000. Delvecchio quickly called and the cards were tabled.

Small blind: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Michael Delvecchio: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The flop fell {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} to give Delvecchio quad kings and his opponent was already drawing dead. The {9-Diamonds}, {3-Spades} runout was just a formality as Delvecchio collected the chips.

Jacks Hold for Hirshik

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Max Hirshik raised in the hijack to 4,500 and the big blind defended.

When the flop came {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, the big blind check called a bet of 2,500 from Hirshik.

The {7-Spades} fell on the turn and both players quickly checked to see the {4-Hearts} river. The big blind led out for 8,500 and Hirshik snap-called. The big blind tabled {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Hirshik took down the pot with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Payman Arjang and Jake Schindler were heads-up on a board of {7-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, with Schindler having a bet of 25,000 in front of him.

Arjang responded by moving all in for 68,000 and Schindler snap-called.

Payman Arjang: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Jake Schindler: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

With roughly 90,000 in the pot on a {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Spades} completed board, Jonathan Dwek bet 35,000 in early position, and Andreas Kniep shoved all in for 86,000 in the hijack. Dwek asked for a count and thought for some time, but eventually laid down his hand.

"Sorry, man," Kniep said as he flipped over his {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} onto the table.

"Oh my god," Dwek reacted.

"Had to do it. Just too good of a spot," Kniep justified while he took the pot and stayed alive for another possible run, as the German player continues his pursuit of besting his 2021 Main Event finish in 18th place for $305,000.
