Hong Continues to Grind on Day 4

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With around 50,000 already in the middle on the {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop, Ivan Starostin, from the hijack, put in a continuation bet of 25,000.

Jeffrey Hong, from the big blind, then put in a raise of 105,000. Starostin called.

On the {8-Clubs} turn, Hong opted to check. Starostin decided on the check as well.

On the {3-Spades} river, Hong reached into his giant stack of red chips, worth 5,000 each, and put a massive tower in front of him. A count revealed that the bet size was 145,000.

Starostin deliberated for roughly 30 seconds before sliding his cards into the muck.

Hong started the day with 113,000 in chips and is now at 695,000, which is roughly the current average stack.

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Scotter Clark
Scotter Clark

Scotter Clark raised from the hijack and got a call from Christian Rudolph in the big blind.

Rudolph checked on the flop of {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Clark bet 35,000. Rudolph called, and check-called again when Clark bet 35,000 on the {10-Diamonds} turn.

Rudolph checked a third time on the {10-Spades} river and Clark fired for 77,000. Rudolph called.

"I have the nuts," Clark said before tabling {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for aces full. "Argh!"

"Second nuts," someone corrected a few moments after the hand.

Action picked up on the flop in a three-way pot. The board showed {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. Two players checked to Brian Rast in the cutoff who bet 48,000 into the pot of about 100,000. Only Michael Rocco called from early position.

The turn landed the {7-Diamonds} and Rocco checked again. Rast checked behind.

The river was the {5-Spades} and Rocco led for 205,000. Rast contemplated for about 20 seconds before making the call.

Rocco revealed {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for the flopped set, Rast tapped the table, and Rocco raked the large pot.

Luke Vrabel briefly recapped a hand he played against Andriy Lyubovetskiy. Vrabel moved all in with {k-}{j-} and action folded to Lyubovetskiy.

Vrabel explained he tried to convince the Ukranian to fold but Lyubovetskiy ended up calling off his shorter stack with {a-}{8-}.

Vrabel paired his jack on the flop and he held on the turn and river to send Lyubovetskiy packing.

Kenney Supremely Spinning

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ebony Kenney
Ebony Kenney

Ebony Kenney has been in short stack ninja mode on Day 4, with her stack hanging around 100,000 much of the day and getting as low as 43,000 at one point.

Recently though, she was seen with a much healthier stack of 395,000 and shared the series of spins that brought it back to life.

First, she got 43,000 in with {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} against {a-}{5-}, and on a runout of {9-}{10-}{k-}{4-}{2-}, drilled a deuce on the river to get a double-up

Then she moved in for 86,000 over an early position raise to 17,000. Kenney had {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} versus her opponent's {9-}{9-}, and with a runout of {a-}{3-}{5-}{7-}{a-}, she doubled again.

The spinup was far from done however, as now back down to 98,000, she got it in with {a-Spades}{j-Spades} against {9-}{7-} and flopped a jack on a {j-}{8-}{3-}{5-}{4-} board to hit the 200,000 mark.

And most recently, after the button jammed on her for 140,000, Kenney found {j-}{j-} against the all in's {3-}{3-} and flopped a full house on the {j-}{9-}{9-}{x-}{x-} runout.
