David "ODB" Baker Eliminated in 8th Place ($11,356)

Level 29 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 0 ante
David -ODB- Baker
David -ODB- Baker

Danny Tang opened on the button before David "ODB" Baker, after lengthy consideration, three-bet out of the small blind. Tang responded with a four-bet with Baker calling off his last few chips.

Baker drew two on the initial draw while Tang stood pat, prompting Baker to remark that he "made the wrong choice". The second draw saw Baker take one and Tang again decline to draw. On the final draw, Baker took what would be his last card of the tournament, turning over 842. Tang, meanwhile, held KQ5A meaning that any diamond would work for Baker. The comeback was not be, however, as Baker turned over the 3 to send him to the rail in 8th place.

With Baker's elimination, the final table of seven has been set.

Jack O'Neill peeks at his final card

Michael Rodrigues opened in the cutoff and Jack O'Neill three-bet all in on the button. Yingui Li called out of the big blind as did Rodrigues to send action three-way to the first draw.

Li and O'Neill both took one card while Rodrigues stood pat after which Li check-called a bet from Rodrigues.

The same drawing pattern took place on the second draw with Li checking once more but this time opting to raise after Rodrigues bet and got the call.

On the final draw Li and O'Neill both drew one card with Rodrigues again declining to take a card. Action then checked to showdown with Rodrigues tabling 10643, prompting Li to muck. O'Neil turned over 876, meaning he was drawing live. His last card, however, was the 9, bringing his tournament to a close in 9th place
