Chikamura Finds Value

The river landed an A and action went check-check.

The middle position player with a short stack opened to 3 big blinds. It folded around to the big blind where Haven Werner decided to go all in forcing her opponent to the test.

He thought for a moment and then made the call. They both tabled the same hand Kx10x. However the short stack player all in at risk made a one-card flush on the river to get the lucky double up.

In early position is a raise to 12,000 and a call. After a few folds, David Leese jammed all in for 90,200. The original caller opted to call flipping over 88 heads up versus Leese's AK. The flop showed 3J10 as the Q on the turn had Leese's opponent drawing dead. Leese now found himself playing 205,000 as he competes to survive to day two.

Shy Was Alive for Three-Way All in

Just before the blinds went up, a flop of 947 gave three players a chance to bet the hand. Kirby Shy bet 15,000 his next opponent pushed his stack in of 32,000 and the big blind pushed his stack in also for 48,000 and Shy called the all ins.

Shy flipped over 95 and the next player flipped over A10 and the big blind William Lahti flipped over AQ.

The 8K turn and river gave Shy's the win and gave him the double knock out.
