Big Pot between Thomas and Ostapchenko

Julian Thomas opened in the cutoff to 5,000 and Andrew Ostapchenko made a three-bet worth 11,000 on the button. The action came back to Thomas who tanked a minute and opted for a four-bet worth 22,000. Ostapchenko then five-bet to 34,500 and after some thinking, Thomas called.

The J93 brought no betting action and a 5 fell on the turn. This time Thomas check-called a bet of 10,000 from Ostapchenko.

When the 8 hit the river, both checked and Thomas revealed K5 for a pair of fives, which was enough to make Ostapchenko muck his hand.
