Ronald Swain raised to 800,000 from late position and Ronald Lane called from the big blind.
The flop was 8♣4♠3♣ and Lane check-called another 800,000 bet from Swain.
The turn was J♥ and Lane checked again. Swain fired 1,500,000 and that was enough to get Lane to fold.
Ronald Lane bet 700,000 from the hijack and was called by Arnon Graham in the big blind. The flop came 6♦3♦2♣ and Lane made a down-bet of 500,000 which was called by Graham.
The 4♠ was dealt on the turn and Lane bet 1,300,000 which Graham called. The K♣ completed the board and both players checked. A resigned Lane said, "You're good." and tabled A♣J♠. It turned out Graham wasn't good and mucked their cards and to his surprise Lane took in the pot.
Federico Trujillo raised to 600,000 from early position and Richard Wallace shoved his last 2,625,000 from the big blind. Trujillo went deep into the tank and counted out his chips before he eventually decided to call.
Richard Wallace: A♦8♦
Federico Trujillo: A♥10♥
The board ran out J♣K♣2♠10♦J♥ and Trujillo turned a ten to eliminate Wallace in ninth place for $35,377.
Ronald Swain bet 800,000 from middle position and was called by Rassoul Malboubi in the big blind. The flop came 10♠5♠2♦ and Swain continued for 800,000. Malboubi responded by shoving for 3,800,000 and was called by Swain.
Rassoul Malboubi: K♥2♥
Ronald Swain: A♥10♥
An ambitious move with bottom pair by Malboubi did not payoff as he ran into Swain's top pair. The board ran out Q♦6♥ and the overnight chip leader Malboubi exited in eighth place.

The 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) kicked off back on May 30, and now bracelet winners are being minted every day. The PokerNews Live Reporting Team has been busy capturing all the action in our live updates, and they’ve witnessed some hands go down that proved to be either entertaining, game-changing or just flat out brutal.
Among those to play big hands were Poker Hall of Famer Erik Seidel, Thomas Eychenne, Shannon Fahey, and Robert Williamson III. There were some truly bad beats in big spots that you don't want to miss.
Ronald Lane raised to 800,000 from early position and Federico Trujillo was the lone caller from two seats over.
The flop was 5♣K♣4♣ and both players checked to see J♥ on the turn.
Both players checked again on the turn and the river was 9♦. Lane fired a bet of 1,100,000 and Trujillo thought it over before he tossed out the chips to call. Lane turned over Q♦10♥ for the king-high straight and Trujillo tossed his hand in the muck.
Meanwhile, Farhad Davoudzadeh has taken down several pots with aggressive raises before the flop.
Ronald Lane bet 900,000 from the button and was swiftly met with a raise of 2,500,000 from Farhad Davoudzadeh in the big blind.
The monotone flop of K♠6♠5♠ prompted Davoudzadeh to ramp up the aggression by betting 3,000,000. Lane thought about it for nearly a minute and folded. Davoudzadeh flicked over the 4♦ for some mind games with the rest of the table.
