Vieira Makes the Wrong Call

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

Joao Vieira opened to 11,000 from middle position only to see Felipe Ramos move all in for 54,500 from the cutoff. Action folded back around to Vieira and he seemed to be in a tough spot, counting and re-counting his stack several times before eventually making the call.

Both players stood pat after which Ramos tabled 10x9x8x6x4x, prompting Vieira to muck a JxXxXxXxXx holding to take a hit to his stack.

Elezra Leaves Li Short

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

Eli Elezra raised to 13,000 from the cutoff before seeing Yingui Li put in a three-bet to 38,000 from the button.

Elezra, clearly far from done raising the action, slid out a four-bet to 103,000. Li though briefly before putting in the call, leaving himself only 45,500 in stack headed to the draw.

Elezra said, "I'm pat" as Li drew one.

Elezra stood from the table and put out a bet big enough to set Li all in then walked to the rail to have a short conversation with a friend. He came back quickly enough to watch Li peel his drawn card and toss a queen into the middle of the table, saying, "Shit!" before tossing his other four cards into the muck.

Elezra said, "You were drawing dead" before tossing his own cards in the muck and collecting the pot.

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

Chris Vitch opened to 8,000 from middle position before Jeff Lennon three-bet to 22,000 on the button. Action folded back around to Vitch and, after some thought, he moved all in for 150,500. Lennon did not immediately fold, instead taking his time in making a decision. Eventually, however, he did concede to send the pot to Vitch.

Suzuki Gets Value from Negreanu

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu raised to 15,000 from late position and got called by Ryutaro Suzuki in the small blind leading to the draw.

Suzuki drew one and Negreanu did the same.

Suzuki paused for a moment and led out with a bet of 18,000. Negreanu counted out calling chips and pretty quickly tossed them into the pot to see Suzuki turn over 97543.

Negreanu showed the 9 before mucking his cards to show that he had a worse nine low, sending the pot to Suzuki.

The Chad & Jesse Poker Show Episode #9: Japanese Vlogging Superstar Masato Yokosawa

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

On the latest The Chad & Jesse Poker Show straight from the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen welcome renowned Japanese vlogger Masato Yokosawa, AKA “World Wide Yokosawa.”

While players in the United States might think folks like Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme has the biggest vlog followings in the world, that distinction actually belongs to Masato, who regularly clears 600K views on each of his vlogs!

The Japanese vlogging sensation opens up about his start in poker, what inspired him to start a vlog, and how he’s managed to turn it into a smashing success with the help of a creative team. He also talks about his desire to win a WSOP gold bracelet, how Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth are perceived in his home country, and what the future looks like for poker in Japan.

Chad and Jesse then do a new "Calling the Clock" segment in which they offer quick two-minute dialogues for topics on “The Board.”
