Winter checked again and Wasserson flicked in a bet of 50,000. Winter still called and the 4 paired the board on the river. Winter checked once more and Wasserson opted to check it back. Winter turned over A2 for top pair and Wasserson conceded the pot.

Zinno Gets There on the River

Level 38 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

With around 110,000 already in the pot, Anthony Zinno bet 65,000 on a board of 10588 before Chris Brewer raised to 225,000.

Zinno used a time bank before he called to see the J river. Brewer slowed down and checked and Zinno fired out 325,000.

Brewer smiled and leaned back his chair before he called as Zinno turned over 97 for the rivered straight.

"This hand was telling me to fold. I really should've done it, though," Brewer said as he mucked, saying he had J9.

Perez' Two-Pair Counterfeited on the Turn

Level 38 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Roberto Perez opened to 22,000 from the small blind and Doug Polk defended.

Polk check-called a 13,000 bet from his opponent on the 2A10 flop and then check-called again for 11,000 on the 10 turn. Both players checked the 7 river.

"Seven" Doug Polk said. Perez showed A2 which was enough to take down the pot despite being counterfeited on the turn when the board paired.

Perez Steals One on the River

Level 38 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Roberto Perez raised to 20,000 on the button and Doug Polk defended his big blind. The flop came AQ8 and Polk check-called a bet of 40,000 from Perez.

The turn was the K which slowed the action as both players checked to the 5 on the river. Polk checked for the third time and Perez tossed in a bet of 85,000. Polk gave it some thought but decided to lay his hand down.

Beside them, Chris Brewer has increased his lead to nearly two-to-one over Anthony Zinno.
