The under the gun player opened to 600 and was called by the small blind. But in the big blind, Javier Nunez three-bet to 2,200. The initial opener didn't just call but four-bet to 7,100. The small blind folded, and Nunez called.
The dealer fanned a flop of K♦5♥6♣, where the player under the gun made a continuation bet of 6,000. Nunez check-called and checked again on the turn 9♥. His opponent checked back, to see the river 9♦.
On this second nine, Nunez bet 16,000. But the player under the gun quickly folded, yielding the pot to Nunez.
A player in early position opened to 600, and Martin Jacobson three-bet to 2,200 before Anthony Fox put in a four-bet 7,000 in the big blind. The original raiser got out of the way and Jacobson made the call.
The dealer fanned a flop of J♥9♥9♠, and Jacobson called a bet of 5,000 from Fox.
The 10♥ fell on the turn and Fox continued with aggression, putting 9,000 in the middle and Jacobson matched the bet.
When the 3♥ completed the board both players tapped the table and Fox showed K♣K♥ for a flush on the river before Jacobson mucked his hand.
Paulina Loeliger was heads-up from early position against the player in the small blind on a completed board of A♣6♦K♠J♠K♣.
Loeliger's opponent checked to her and she fired 3,000 into the middle. The small blind called and Loeliger tabled K♦10♥ for trip kings. Her opponent showed he held the A♠2♦ and mucked — sending the pot Loeliger's way.
Wendeen Eolis was sitting in under the gun position and was involved in a pot against Felipe Ketzer in the big blind. On a flop of 5♥2♥J♥ with 2,300 chips in the middle, Ketzer out 400. Eolis made the call and the 8♣ turn fell.
Ketzer upped the bet to 1,000, but Eolis responded by putting in four T-1,000 chips in the middle for a raise to 4,000.
"Do you show?" Ketzer asked. When he received no response, he stated "I will make a big fold" and opted to fold his Q♦Q♣ face up.
"Oh wow, that is a big fold," Eolis stated.
"No show?" Ketzer pleaded once more.
"Not today," Eolis concluded while raking in the chips.
In a heads-up pot between under-the-gun player Assad Kamran and Jared Griener in middle position, Kamran checked on the flop of 3♦4♠10♣ and Griener bet 1,500.
Kamran stared down Griener and announced a raise to 4,200. Griener called with his opponent still staring him down.
The turn brought the 10♠ and Kamran sized up to 8,500 to bring a quick fold from the Utah all-time money leader.
"Quads?" asked Griener as Kamran speculated that Griener had pocket kings.
"You think I folded kings?"
Three players headed to a flop of K♣6♥3♦ and Pedro Neves started with a check from the big blind. The player on his left fired out a bet of 1,200 and was called by a player in middle position. Neves check-raised to 4,400 and only the player on his left called.
The turn brought the J♦ and Neves checked for the second time. His opponent put out another bet of 5,500 and Neves decided to lay his hand down.
Landon Tice opened to 500 and David Peters three-bet 1,700 next to act. The action folded back around to Tice and he made the call.
When the K♠J♣4♦ flop hit the felt, Tice check-called a bet of 1,200.
Both players checked through the 8♦ turn to see the 9♣ river. Tice led for 6,500 and Peters took a moment before putting in a raise to 16,000. Tice paused briefly and tossed in a call. Peters tabled K♥K♣ for a set of kings on the flop and Tice mucked his hand.
Stefan Lehner raised it up in middle position and Jordan Sparagana three-bet to 2,000 on the button. The big blind flat-called and Lehner four-bet to 7,200. Both Sparagana and the big blind just called as they went three ways to a flop.
The flop fell 6♠3♠2♠ and the action checked to Sparagana who tossed in a bet of 6,000. The big blind quickly folded and Lehner eventually followed suit, sending the four-bet pot to Sparagana.
