Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Jake Schwartz
Jake Schwartz

The hijack raised 600 before Eric Fields three-bet to 2,100 in the cutoff. Jake Schwartz was on the button and put in a four-bet to 5,500. The blinds quickly folded as did the hijack, but Fields didn't go anywhere as he made the call.

Both players checked to the river on the Q♣Q♠J♣8♠3♣ board and Fields checked once more to Schwartz who dropped a bet of 4,000 across the line. Fields didn't take too long before surrendering the pot.

Wang Snap-Shoves the River

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Three-handed on a flop of Q♦5♣6♦ and around 10,000 in the pot, Adam Grossack bet 5,500 from the hijack and only Yueqi Wang, in middle position called.

The turn came the J♣ and Grossack continued for 11,000. Wang spent several minutes in the tank twirling her chips in her hand before putting them in the middle to see the J♦ river.

Wang instantly announced she was all in for 35,500 as Grossack now went into the tank. "At least I know it's not pocket queens," Wang said before the dealer reminded her not to talk about the hand with action pending.

Grossack eventually open-folded A♠Q♦ and Wang flashed the A♦ as she took the pot.

Ben Keeline, the 2016 Colossus champion, is also at this table by currently sitting on a short stack.

Paul Guichard
Paul Guichard

In a pot containing around 29,000 with two players involved, the board already showed 5♠Q♥K♦J♥ when Giovanni Zanette bet 9,000 and Paul Guichard tanked a minute before calling.

The 7♣ brought a pair on the river and this time Zanette check-called Guichard for 6,700. The latter tabled A♣A♠ and it was good to take the pot as Zanette mucked his hand.

Weinman Avoids Clinkscales Disaster

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up on the turn in a hand between Weinman in the hijack and Rex Clinksclaes in the small blind.

The board read 5♦10♦8♠2♦ and Clinkscales bet 1,500 and Weinman called.

The river came the 4♦ and Clinkscales sized up to 5,000 and Weinman scrunched his eyebrows as he pondered his decision. He tossed in the call and Clinkscales turned over A♦7♦ for the nut flush. Weinman smiled as he showed J♦8♦ for a worse flush and he joked "that could have gotten a lot worse."

Marsico Shows the Winner

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

A player in early position limped before Mike Marsico raised from late position. The player in the cutoff called as did the initial early position limper, leading to a K♠J♠7♣ flop.

The player in early position checked and Marsico threw out a bet of 1,200. The cutoff got out of the way but the early position player decided on a check-raise to 2,400.

Marsico called the min-raise three-bet and both players watched the dealer put the K♦ out on the turn.

Action checked through to the 8♥ river and action checked through once again, taking both players to showdown.

The early position player tabled the Q♠7♠ before seeing Marsico show the Q♦J♥ to take the pot down with a superior two pair.

A player opened to 700 from middle position and was three-bet to 2,000 by Ren Lin in the cutoff. The player in the big blind called cold and the initial raiser folded.

The big blind checked-called a 2,000 bet from Lin on the 10♥8♠2♣ flop and then both player checked down on the 4♦ turn and 2♠ river.

The big blind turned over 3♥3♦, but it was no good against Lin's 8♦5♦ for a pair of eights and Lin collected the pot.

The K♠ hit the turn, Heimiller snap-checked, and Sylvia checked back after a short pause.
