Bogdanov Gets There and Doubles

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Yulian Bogdanov
Yulian Bogdanov

A sizable 19,500 had already been accumulated preflop by Yulain Bogdanov and Edouard Mignot. Bogdanov checked and Mignot bet 6,200 on the J104 flop. Bogdanov then shoved all in for 39,600 and Mignot called after taking a few minutes to think it over, putting his opponent at risk.

Yulian Bogdanov: A2
Edouard Mignot: 109

Bogdanov had one overcard and the nut flush draw, while Mignot was holding on to his flopped pair of tens. The turn of J remained clean for the Frenchman, but the Q river saw Bogdanov's flush come in, doubling him up while denting Mignot's stack.

Huge Fold from "Nik Airball"

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with players four-handed and the board reading 1095J.

Nikhil Arcot, better known on Hustler Casino Live as "Nik Airball", checked from the small blind. Nuno Duarte bet 6,000 from the big blind, getting a call from a player in early position while folding out a player in middle position. Airball raised to 17,000 and Duarte responded by moving all in, covering Airball's remaining stack of a bit over 100,000 and sending him deep into the tank.

"Sorry guys, I have a big hand" Airball told his tablemates after about three minutes. Eventually, Airball folded JJ face up for top set, sending a sizable pot Duarte's way. Airball could later be heard telling his opponents that he never would have folded in that spot had he been playing a cash game.

In a heads-up raise pot, Lester Edoc check-called Fernando Rodriguez for 3,200 on a flop 784.

The turn brought the J and Edoc checked again. Rodriguez sent 8,000 and that was enough for Edoc who folded his hand.

Patrone's Overbet Gets Called

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Ramiro Petrone checked from the big blind on a flop of763. With around 5,000 chips in the pot, Jeffrey Esterling then made a bet of 2,500 from the cutoff. Petrone called before both of the players checked the Q turn.

The 8 river was then dealt and Petrone now made a massive overbet of 18,000 chips. Esterling weighed his options, cut out some calling chips, and put them in.

Petrone could only show A10 for ace-high, while Esterling made the winning call with his overpair of KxKx.

Lynskey Shoves on Jackson

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Alex Lynskey raised to 2,200 from early position as action folded around to Mark Jackson on the button, who three-bet to 6,100.

Lynskey came back with an all-in shove as Jackson, with around 30,000 remaining, tanked for several minutes. He eventually released his hand as Lynskey took the pot.

Rytis Strigunas, who doubled up off Jackson with aces versus kings earlier in the day, is still hovering around 100,000, while Florencio Bunal and Christoph Vogelsang are also at this table.

Updated Chip Counts in Paris Black

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Kim Rivers the Bust Out

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The big blind bet 5,000 on a board of 497Q. Ravee Sundara folded from late position, and Lowell Kim reraised to 11,000, enough to put the big blind all in.

The big blind tanked with his Main Event life on the line, fidgeting with his ear buds. Faced with no real alternative, he put in the call. He showed Qx9x for two pair, and Kim KJ for the straight and flush draw.

The river brought the 6 and another player found a Day 2 exit.
