Zinno's River Bet Earns the Pot

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With about 25,000 in the middle, the action checked to Anthony Zinno as he bet 4,000, and his opponent check-called.

The Q hit the turn and both players checked to see the 8 river.

Zinno's opponent checked before he tossed out a bet of 25,000. His opponent went in the tank for two minutes and eventually pushed his cards towards the dealer.

Wu Wins a Free Beer and the Pot

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Andrew Wu
Andrew Wu

Andrew Wu in middle position limped in, the player in the hijack raised to 14,000, the big blind called and so did Wu.

Three-ways to a flop of 27K. The action checked to the hijack who bet out 13,000. Only Wu continued.

The 3 turn checked through to the 10 on the river. Wu now took the lead for 38,000.

The player in the hijack thought for a considerable amount of time. Perhaps in the hope of speeding up the decision, Wu told his opponent "Don't call!". The hijack seemingly listen and folded his hand.

Another player at the table begged Wu to show his cards.

"Buy me a beer and I'll show you" he replied as he tabled 33 for a turned set.

The next time PokerNews walked past Wu's seat, he had a beer beside his chip stack.

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Tom Dwan

Tom Dwan opened early to 10,000 with K5, then called a three-bet from Brian Atchison to 25,000 in the hijack with the rockets. The flop came 310J and Dwan check-called a 55,000 bet into a pot of 60,000.

The 5 hit the turn, and Dwan once again checked to Atchison, who made it 110,000. Dwan check-shoved with his pair and flush draw, but Atchison nearly beat him into the pot with his aces. The 10 river couldn't save Dwan and he hit the rail from the feature table.

McGowan Put to the Test

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

David McGowan was heads-up on a board of J877 when he bet 50,000 from the hijack. An opponent in early position then moved all in, having McGowan's remaining 107,000 covered.

Andrada Eliminates Opponent

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action was joined as the money was already in. Ryan Andrada, the button, had his opponent in the small blind at risk.

Small Blind: AK
Ryan Andrada: JJ

The flop was nearly as good as it could possibly be for Andrada, as the first three cards came 4J4 to give him a boat. The 4 turn gave his opponent additional outs should quad fours hit the board, but the 9 river came to give Andrada the win and send his opponent to the rail.

A player in early position raised to 8,500 before Brandon Sunshine three-bet to 24,000. Sevag Yedalian sat waiting in the big blind and four-bet to 84,000 before the action folded back to the initial raiser.
