"What a Joke"

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jason Liu
Jason Liu

Richard Ryder raised 80,000 in the cutoff and Harsheel Kothari called in the small blind before Jason Liu three-bet 240,000 from the big blind. Ryder called, and Kothari made the fold.

The flop of 1084 received checks from both players and the 2 hit the turn.

Liu led out for 310,000 and Ryder made the call.

When the A landed on the river, Liu took a moment before cutting out a bet of 600,000. Ryder instantly announced a call while tabling 1010 for a set of tens on the flop. Liu rolled over his AA, rivering the highest set and Ryder exploded out of his chair and walked about 10 feet away. A tablemate peeled the 600,000 off his stack for the dealer to reach and sent it to Liu.

After a few seconds, Ryder came back and said, "What a joke. What an absolute joke."

French also checked the J river and Yokosawa bet 400,000. The check-shove by French followed and Yokosawa instantly folded.

"He is human!" Christopher Kimmel in the nine seat exclaimed.

Not only did Paytas have the better of the two pairs, but he also had both of the suits covered. The flop came J104 and Paytas was still in the lead. The Q rolled off on the turn and Peppin clapped his hands to celebrate his set of queens. However, the A hit the river and Paytas made a straight to eliminate Peppin.
