Valdez' Second Barrel Gets Through

Fausto Valdez opened 120,000 in early position, and Steven Jones called in the cutoff.

The dealer fanned a flop of A88, and Valdez continued for 100,000, which was called.

The J hit the turn and Valdez fired 300,000 into the middle, which was enough to force Jones out of the pot.

Fortunate Double for Mzareulov

Hunter Barnett had doubled just a few minutes ago when his AA made aces full on the A6556 runout. He then jammed over the top of a short stack shove by David Mzareulov in the cutoff and the blinds folded.

The dominated ace got there thanks to the J8533 board as he paired up on the flop and dodged additional spades.

Geilich Shocked By Waysei

Ludovic Geiliich opened to 120,000 from under the gun and was called by Koveh Waysei from middle position.

Waysei called for 245,000 on the J97 flop which brought in the 5 turn. both players checked and they did the same on the 2 river.

Geilich tabled A10 for ace-high. Waysei had a pair of fives for the winner with his 105.

Geilich had a look of disbelief on his face as the hand was tabled.

Spunt Quacks His Way to a Win

Steven Spunt raised to 125,000 in middle position and picked up three callers along the way. The flop came 742 and Ryan Casaly led out with a bet of 150,000 from the small blind. Spunt raised to 400,000 and Casaly called.

The 7 paired the board on the turn and both players checked to the 10 on the river. Casaly checked again and Spunt threw out a bet of 700,000. Casaly deliberated for a minute before making the call. Spunt tabled 22 for a full house and Casaly conceded the pot.

The flop came Q97, and Yokosawa check-called a bet of 150,000.

When the 5 hit the turn, Yokosawa check-called another bet of 600,000.

Both players checked the 2 river, and Yokosawa tabled A9 before Therme mucked his hand.

Vieth Makes a Big Fold

With the board reading K92J5 and just under 2,000,000 in the pot, Daniel Scroggins checked, and Mason Vieth bet 1,450,000. Scroggins then announced all in with a covering stack, putting a visibly frustrated Vieth deep into the tank.

After roughly four minutes, Vieth folded 99 for a set face up, and Scroggins collected a colossal pot without having to go to showdown.
