Having defended the big blind, Adam Walton checked the 10♣6♦3♦10♥ turn and Joshua Payne checked behind from an early position. The 7♦ river was checked by Walton again and Payne bet 550,000.
Walton called rather swiftly and Payne knuckled the table with a "good call, king high" before exposing the K♠J♠. Walton earned the pot with the 5♠3♣.
Alejandro Perez took a big hit to the stack soon after coming back from the break while Richard Ryder jumped out of his seat to celebrate a double for 3,400,000.
They had gotten it in after the J♦10♥6♦ flop as Ryder held the J♣J♠ for top set while Perez revealed 6♠6♣ for the bottom set.
The board completed with the 8♠ turn and 5♦ river and Ryder doubled.
Daniel Weinman raised to 210,000 from middle position, then called when Hilton Laborda shoved for 750,000 next to act.

Laborda was racing for his tournament life, but his two eights couldn't hold up on the A♠2♣5♣2♦7♥ board as Weinman made aces and deuces to send the Brazilian to the rail.
Fausto Valdez moved all in for his last 865,000 from middle position and was looked up by Daisuke Goto in the small blind.

Valdez would need to win a flip to survive but fell way behind on the 5♥8♥10♣ flop. The 2♥ turn did give Valdez some flush outs, but the 10♥ river, while completing Valdez's flush, improved Goto to a full house to send Valdez out of the tournament.
John Racener opened to 200,000 from early position and Sundiata Devore put in a three-bet to 625,000, leaving only 15,000 behind. It folded to Steven Jones in the big blind who shoved over the top for close to 2,800,000. Racener got out of the way and Devore called for his remaining chips.

It was a fair fight preflop, but when the board ran out 8♦6♥2♦2♣5♦, it was the tens for Jones that won the flip to send Devore to the payout desk.
Spencer Taylor opened to 200,000 from hijack and Jack O'Neill called from the button.
Taylor check-called for 200,000 on the A♠Q♣Q♥ flop before the A♣ turn checked through to the 2♥ river.
Taylor bet 600,000 and O'Neil conceded the pot.
Henry Chan was all in from the small blind for 1,725,000, Oscar Alache had his last 1,000,000 in the middle from the button, and Nate Silver in the big blind had them both covered and at risk.

Chan's jacks were the best of the three pocket pairs, and he held on through the K♥Q♣4♣A♥2♠ board to double up off Silver, while Alache was sent to the rail.
In a three-way pot on a board of 4♣6♣Q♥4♥, Andrey Pateychuk bet around 900,000 and Hunter Barnett called before Pavel Dyachenko check-raised to bring a fold from Pateychuk as Barnett called off for his tournament life.

Dyachenko was ahead with trips and Barnett couldn't improve as the 7♥ bricked off on the river to mark his elimination.
Andrei Boghean opened to 200,000 on the button before Scott Berko three-bet to 800,000 out of the small blind. Boghean responded by moving all in for 1,825,000 and was snapped off by Berko.

Boghean had Berko dominated and managed to stay ahead on the 4♥9♠4♠2♦8♣ runout to secure a full double just after the break.
Tim Van Loo looked down at K♠K♥ in the hijack and raised to 225,000. Shang Dai on the button then three-bet to 550,000 with 10♠10♦ as action went back to Van Loo, who moved all in.
Dai, with 1,750,000 remaining, tanked for about a minute before giving up his dominated pair.
"I know you had a pair of eights," tablemate Masato Yokosawa told Van Loo after the hand.
