Juan Maceiras Lapido opened to 1,000,000 in middle position and Joshua Payne three-bet to 2,700,000 in the hijack. Action folded back to Maceiras Lapido and he called after about a minute.
Maceiras Lapido checked on the flop of 6♣2♦3♥ and quickly folded as Payne continued for 2,000,000.
Jack O'Neill raised to 1,000,000 in the cutoff and Sachin Joshi shipped all in for 7,600,000 on the button. The blinds folded and O'Neill quickly called to put Joshi at risk.
Sachin Joshi: A♥K♣
Jack O'Neill: A♣Q♥
The flop came K♥10♥5♣ to give Joshi a pair of kings but O'Neill picked up a straight draw. The 6♥ on the turn narrowed his outs and the 5♠ on the river secured the double for Joshi.
Joe Ghio raised to 1,500,000 with 7♠7♦ from the hijack before Joshua Payne three-bet to 4,000,000 on the button with A♥7♥. Jose Aguilera looked down at Q♥Q♣ and moved all in for 20,100,000.
Ghio quickly folded, and Payne threw his cards into the muck as Aguilera took the pot uncontested.
Anirban Das raised to 1,000,000 and collected the blinds and big blind ante.
Das then raised to 1,000,000 once more and Adam Walton defended his big blind to see the A♠A♣2♣ flop on which Walton checked. Das bet 725,000 only to fold to a check-raise for 1,725,000 by Walton.
Daniel Holzner then min-raised from under the gun and Das came along in the big blind. They checked the 9♥8♣6♥ flop and Das check-called the 8♠ turn for 800,000. Both checked the 5♦ river and Das revealed the A♣5♥, Holzner won the pot with the J♦9♦.
Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 1,100,000 in early position and Jack O'Neill called from the small blind. The flop came K♥K♦2♦ and O'Neill check-called a bet of 1,000,000 from Jachtmann.
The turn was the 10♠ and O'Neill checked again. Jachtmann fired out another bet of 2,500,000 and O'Neill stuck around for the 5♥ on the river. O'Neill checked for the third time and Jachtmann reached back for a bet of 8,500,000. O'Neill went into the tank for over four minutes and finally let his hand go.
Joe Ghio completed in the small blind and Juan Maceiras Lapido raised to 2,100,000 in the big blind. Ghio three-bet to 7,500,000 and Maceiras Lapido laid it down.
Ryan Tamanini raised to 1,000,000 and Adam Walton called from the small blind before Anirban Das came along from the big blind.
The flop was 3♣J♠7♦ and all three players checked to get to the 2♥ on the turn.
Walton fired 2,175,000 on the turn and both Das and Tamanini called to see 7♥ on the river. Walton changed gears with a check and Das put out 7,775,000. Tamanini gave it a moment of thought before he committed his last 6,425,000 and Walton scurried out of the way. Das turned over A♠7♠ for three sevens, but Tamanini tabled J♥J♦ to secure the big pot with jacks full of sevens.
The action folded around to Alec Torellli in the small blind who made it 1,800,000. Andrew Hulme called from the big blind and the dealer fanned the flop of A♦8♥5♥
Torelli led out with a bet of 1,600,000 and Hulme quickly dumped his cards to the muck.
On the next hand, Hulme limped in from the small blind and Toby Lewis checked his option. The flop fell A♥Q♥4♦ and Hulme led out with a bet of 500,000 which got Lewis to fold.
The double up of Joe Ghio proved to be only a short-lived hiatus in Ruslan Prydryk's relentless accumulation of chips.
Prydryk raised to 1,000,000 from the cutoff and Dean Hutchison called on the button. The flop came 4♣Q♦10♣ and Prydryk continued for 1,500,000.
Hutchison called to the 6♥ turn where Prydryk fired out another 2,000,000. Hutchison folded this time and Prydryk raked in the pot.
But that was only a small pot compared to the next one Prydryk played, this time against Joshua Payne. Prydryk again raised to 1,000,000 and Payne defended his big blind.
The flop came K♥J♦Q♣ and Prydryk bet 1,000,000 again. Payne called and checked the 7♦ turn before Prydryk tossed out 3,500,000.
Payne called again to the 2♥ river, where he faced a bet of 5,500,000. Payne gave it some thought before calling as Prydryk showed J♣J♥ for a flopped set to take another pot.
Steven Jones made it 1,000,000 to go from the hijack and Ryan Tamanini called in the big blind, then check-folded the A♦Q♥2♣ flop to a bet worth 800,000.
One hand later, Jones raised to 1,100,000 first to act for Adam Walton in the hijack and Anirban Das in the cutoff to call. Jones continued for 2,000,000 on the K♣7♣3♠ flop. Walton took a sip from his coffee and then opted to fold while Das quickly called.
Another bet by Jones came on the 4♥ turn, this time for 4,500,000, and Das called once more.
Last but not least, Jones bet the 3♦ river for 8,000,000 and Das took around one minute to call. Jones tabled his A♣K♦ for kings and treys with the ace kicker and that won the pot, as he vaulted out of his chair to flex his muscles to friends on the rail.
