Firestone's Pair Holds True

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Under the gun opened the action to 8,000 and the small blind and big blind made the call.

The flop came down J73 and under the gun bet out 9,000. Eric Firestone check-raised from the small blind to 22,000, getting the big blind out of the way, but under the gun came along for a turn card.

The 6 peeled off, and the action went check-check. A 2 on the river resulted in a check-check again, and Firestone won with a surprising A3.
