Dan Shak raised from under the gun to 7,000, and Renji Mao shoved all for a little under 50,000 from the next seat. Anthony Marquez then four-bet to 125,000, and once the action got back to Shak, he folded AxKx face up.

No help arrived for bracelet-winner Mao as the runout of A5Q88 kept the pocket kings of Marquez in the lead.

Acevedo Fills Up to Bust Baker

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Heads-up on a flop of A7Q, Michael Acevedo put out a bet from the hijack, David "ODB" Baker quickly splashed in a raise, and Acevedo instantly moved all in. Baker snap-called for around 75,000.

Michael Acevedo: A7

Baker had straight and flush draws, while Acevedo turned over two pair. The turn was the A, and Acevedo improved to a full house to leave Baker drawing only to one out, which he missed on the river as he was sent to the rail.

Greenblatt Relents to Owen's Pressure

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Brad Owen opened the cutoff to 5,000, and Alex Greenblatt called from the small blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of Q104, and after Greenblatt checked, Owen bet 11,000. Greenblatt made the call.

A 3 landed on the turn, and Greenblatt checked once again, only to face another sizable bet from Owen, this time to the tune of 21,000. The price of poker was too much for Greenblatt as he sent his cards back to the dealer and Owen was pushed the pot.

Both players checked the K turn, and the 10 fell on the river. Conniff then bet 53,500, and his opponent called after tanking for a few moments.

Conniff then showed KK for a full house, and his opponent mucked.

Jean-Robert Bellande recently busted 2004 Main Event champion Greg Raymer to claim his bounty, as well as a signed fossil. "If you do well in the Main Event, you can treat me to a nice dinner," Raymer told him.
