Wilson Takes a Dent Out of Jaka's Stack

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Faraz Jaka opened from under the gun to 6,000 and got called by Scott Wilson in the cutoff and a player in the big blind.

They saw a flop of 8K2, and after the big blind checked, Jaka bet 6,000. Wilson called, and the big blind folded.

Jaka fired for 13,000 on the 9 turn, and Wilson made the call.

The 3 was checked through, and Wilson took it down with Q8 after he flopped a pair of eights.

Dan Harrington

Action started with a button raise to 7,500 and Dan Harrington completed in the big blind.

The flop came down 52Q, the button bet 7,000, and Harrington called.

An A turn card did not slow the button down. He sized up to 16,000, and Harrington raised to 41,000. The button folded, and Harrington took down the pot and remained the chip leader at the table.

Bellande Doubles Up Rusinek

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Jean-Robert Bellande
Jean-Robert Bellande

Jean-Robert Bellande lost some of his big stack in a hand against Lior Rusinek, who started the hand on a short stack of less than ten big blinds. The players were all in preflop for a pot of 115.000 chips.

Lior Rusinek: AQ All in
Jean-Robert Bellande: 99

The flop 2JA gave Rusinek top pair, and the Q turn and 10 didn’t help Bellande’s cause. Despite the loss, Bellande’s chips have mostly been on the right trajectory, as he still sits on a healthy stack of over 100 big blinds.

Chris Moneymaker: KK All in
Johnny Chan: AK

Shao's River Bet Gets Through

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The hijack raised to 6,000, and the button, Bob Shao, three-bet to 15,000. The hijack flatted, and they went heads-up to a flop.

The flop came down KK9, and the button continued for 8,000. The hijack called, and a dicey J appeared on the turn.

Both players checked, and the 6 was the river. The hijack checked and Shao went for value sizing up to 25,000.

The button went into the tank but eventually folded, and Shao chipped up nicely.

Eveslage Survives on the River Against Blumstein

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action folded to Chad Eveslage, who moved all in for 30,500 from the small blind. Scott Blumstein confirmed the amount before he called in the big blind.

Chad Eveslage: 108 All in
Scott Blumstein: A4

The 2J9 flop gave Eveslage a straight draw, but he remained behind on the 9 turn. The river, though, was the Q, and Eveslage made his straight to double up.

Chen and Samual Collide Again

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a blind-on-blind situation, Pete Chen and Darius Samual had seen a flop of 4105 with over 20,000 chips in the middle. Chen checked; Samual bet 9,000, and Chen called.

The turn brought a J and after Chen checked, Samual took a peek at his opponent's stack and shoved all in. Chen checked his cards before he made a quick call for his remaining 51,000 chips.

Pete Chen: J4 All in

Darius Samual 102

Only a ten on the river would eliminate Chen, but a 4 improved the Taiwanese player to a full house and earned him a full double-up.
