Jaka Can't Get Lucky Twice

Samuel Laskowitz opened to 6,000 from under the gun before Justin Zaki moved all in for 81,000 from the button. Faraz Jaka rejammed as the bigger stack from the small blind, folding out the Farid Jattin in the big blind. Laskowitz also returned his cards to the dealer.

Jaka paired his queen on the Q♥8♥5♦ flop and held out to score the bust out after the 3♥ turn and 7♣ river.

The following hand, Jaka opened to 7,000 and called when Jattin jammed for 95,500.

Jaka failed to connect on the 10♠5♥5♣4♥3♥ runout and Jattin collected the double-up.

The $25K Fantasy league is off to a hot start with seven of the 19 teams over 100 points as of June 4. Most of those were thanks to a handful of draftees hitting field bonuses in Event #5: $1,000 Mystery Millions, which attracted 18,409 entrants and became the sixth-largest poker tournament of all time.

In a three-way pot on a flop of 9♥9♣J♥, a player bet 6,000 and Matthew Fields called before Kristen Foxen raised to 18,000. The initial bettor folded and Fields raised all in for around 40,000 to bring a quick call from Foxen.

Foxen had trips to be in front of Fields' gutshot, and the A♦ turn gave her a full house to have her opponent drawing dead headed to the 10♠ river.

Sammartino Turns a Set to Crack Hunt's Aces

Matt Hunt opened from the button to 6,500. Dario Sammartino three-bet from the big blind to 20,000 and Hunt made the call.

Sammartino fired a continuation bet of 15,000 on the 10♥4♥6♣ flop. Hunt made the call to see a turn.

When the turn came a flush completing Q♥, Sammartino slowed down and checked. Hunt moved all-in for about 65,000 and Sammartino snap-called.

There was no ace on the river for Hunt as the dealer put out the 2♥. Hunt wished the table good luck as he exited the tournament area.

Jager Doubles Through Jaffe

Action was picked up on the flop in a four-bet pot between Jonathan Jaffe in the big blind and Paul Jager on the button.

On the flop of 8♣Q♠10♣, Jaffe bet the flop and Jager responded by moving all in for 96,000 which Jaffe snap called.

Jonathan Jaffe: K♣K♦

The board ran out J♣6♥ for a flush for Jager and he left Jaffe with just one big blind.

Jaffe was eliminated shortly.
