Brown Gets an Earful From Schwartz as He Shows an Eight

Level 10 : Limits 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Andrew Brown raised under the gun and Jake Schwartz called in the cutoff. The button then reraised and both Brown and Schwartz called.

Brown and the button took one, while Schwartz took two. The button then bet and both players called.

Brown and the button again drew one and Schwartz drew two as all three players checked and stood pat.

"Why didn't anyone bet that street," Brown said as he pretended to move all in, then tossed out a bet.

"Andrew, you want me to bet that street? You're both drawing one and you want me to bet that street?" Schwartz said as he folded. The button called.

Brown showed 8-6-5-3-2. "Nuts. That's like four aces," Brown said as he won the pot.

"It would've been the worst lead in the history of 2-7," Schwartz added, continuing with his tirade as the rest of the table burst out laughing.
