Kitai Hits the Flop

Middle position bet out 2,000, the hijack called and Davidi Kitai raised to 7,500 from the big blind. Middle position folded, the hijack called, and the players went heads-up to the turn.

The K was turned and Kitai checked. The hijack raised to 2,000 and Kitai called.

The river came the A and once checked to by Kitai, the hijack bet 7,000. Kitai called and players flipped their hands.

The hijack showed 5x5x and Kitai showed 810, winning the hand with trip tens.

Joseph McKeehen raised to 1,200 from early position, a player in the cutoff made the call before Kenna James three-bet to 3,900. Bayardo Alvarez called from the small blind, McKeehan folded and the cutoff called.

Action checked through on the 10K9 flop.

The turn card was the 9, both players checked to James who placed a wager of 4,000. Alvarez called and the player in the cutoff folded.

Xu Takes the Action Pot

The KKQ flop was already out with a pot of around 4,000 when two players were in the hand.

ZhiYuan Xu bet 1,200 from a late position on the flop and his opponent raised to 2,400 from the small blind. Xu three-bet to 6,300 and the small blind called, taking them to the turn.

The 7 was the turn card and Xu bet out around 40,000. The small blind paused, and then folded his hand, giving the pot to Xu.

Alt Sets Trap; Misses Out on Value

Action was picked up on a board showing 6689 and Dinesh Alt involved in a hand against an opponent in late position.

Alt checked, resulting in his opponent to bet 2,500, which Alt called.

The 2 showed up on the river, and Alt checked. The player in late position checked behind and Alt tabled 99 for a full house, resulting in a quick fold from Alt’s opponent.

As the pot was pushed to Alt, the situation raised a question.

“Did I miss value?” Alt asked his opponent, who quickly shook his head up and down.

Alt gave a light chuckle in response, now knowing his opponent likely would’ve called a bet.
