Shannon Shorr raised to 16,000 from middle position and found one caller from the big blind.

The big blind player led out for 16,000 on the 4♣2♦3♠ flop. Shorr chose to raise to 41,000 and got a swift fold from the big blind player

Trayner Busts Raymer

Malcolm Trayner raised to 16,000 from under the gun and Greg Raymer defended from the big blind.

Raymer checked the 5♦K♥5♥ flop and Trayner bet 12,000. Raymer called and they headed to the turn.

The 4♠ turn saw Raymer check-call a bet of 46,000 from Trayner.

On the J♥ river, Raymer checked for the final time and faced a bet of 165,000 from Trayner. The bet was enough to put Raymer all-in. After pondering for almost a minute, Raymer slid in the call.

Trayner flipped up A♠K♠, which was good as Raymer turned over 6♥6♠, and with that a former WSOP Main Event champion had been eliminated close to the bubble

Did Scott Seiver Just Punch His Ticket to the Poker Hall of Fame?

Scott Seiver won his fifth World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet and in doing so may have secured his place in the Poker Hall of Fame when he becomes eligible next year.

Seiver, a longtime pro from New York who poker fans may remember from his appearance on the Big Game in the early 2010s, took down Event #10: $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship (8-Handed) for $426,744 after an intense and grueling final table battle that eventually saw him denying Jonathan Cohen a second bracelet.

Seiver turns 40 next April and thus will be eligible for the Poker Hall of Fame, a club home to other five-plus bracelet winners like Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Erik Seidel and Phil Hellmuth.

Not only is the Hall of Fame already on Seiver's mind, it's the 39-year-old's primary motivator.
