Spruitenburg Shows Kings

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

John Nowak raised to 16,000 on the button, and Jeff Spruitenburg three-bet to 53,000 from the small blind.

After some friendly table chatter between the two, Nowak went into the tank for several minutes, eventually folding his hand.

Spruitenburg showed KxKx, and Nowak advised the table that he mucked AK.

Ho Doubles

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Maria Ho
Maria Ho

There was a raise in middle position to 12,000. Maria Ho called from the small blind and they went to the flop heads-up

Ho check-called a bet of 14,000 on the 10K3 flop.

The turn came the Q and Ho check-called another bet of 33,000 from her opponent.

Ho checked to her opponent on the seemingly blank 4 river, and he bet enough to put Ho all-in. The bet amounted to roughly 120,000. Ho made the call for her remaining chips and the cards were revealed.

The middle position player flipped over Kx10x for a flopped two pair. But this was second best to Ho's KQ for top two pair. Ho dragged in the pot just before the second break

Foxed confidently turned over AQ for top pair. But she was second best to a flush as her opponent flipped up Q8 to win the pot
