Oconnell Flops Top Set, Eliminates Seiver

Drew Oconnell opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 20,000. Scott Seiver moved all in for 23,000 from the button and Nazar Buhaiov called the 23,000 from the small blind. Oconnell called and players went heads up to a flop with Seiver all in and at risk.

Action checked through on 8♦3♦Q♠ before Buhaiov led for 40,000 on the 5♠ turn. Oconnell made the call.

Buhaiov checked the 4♦ river over to Oconnell who fired 70,000. Buhaiov made the laydown. Oconnell tabled Q♦Q♣ for the winner. Seiver showed K♥6♣ before heading to the payout desk.

Boris Berthomet wagered 90,000 from the button and Leo Margets made the call from the cutoff.

Berthomet fired 240,000 on the 2♣ river leaving himself only 6,000 behind. Marget moved all in but Berthomet quickly mucked and was left with crumbs.

There were around 300,000 chips in the pot on a board of 4♣J♥4♦9♦ when James Broom fired a bet of 50,000 into Iulian Blebea, who called.

A K♥ landed on the river and Broom gathered all but one of his chips and slid them forward, a bet of around 115,000. Blebea went deep into thought and took around two minutes before he eventually released his hand.
