Oconnell Flops Top Set, Eliminates Seiver

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Drew Oconnell opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 20,000. Scott Seiver moved all in for 23,000 from the button and Nazar Buhaiov called the 23,000 from the small blind. Oconnell called and players went heads up to a flop with Seiver all in and at risk.

Action checked through on 83Q before Buhaiov led for 40,000 on the 5 turn. Oconnell made the call.

Buhaiov checked the 4 river over to Oconnell who fired 70,000. Buhaiov made the laydown. Oconnell tabled QQ for the winner. Seiver showed K6 before heading to the payout desk.

Hunt Runs into Kings

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Matt Hunt
Matt Hunt

Matthew Hunt raised to 20,000 from the hijack. Ihar Soika three-bet out of the big blind to 72,000. Hunt four-bet ripped all-in for roughly 410,000 and Soika snap-called.

Matthew Hunt: JJ All in
Ihar Soika: KK

Hunt tried one of the oldest tricks in books and stood up hoping it may bring him some run-good when he needed it most. However, it didn't help as the board ran out 995A7 and Hunt was sent to the rail.

Soika Gets Richer

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The player from under the gun limped in and Richard Dixon also limped from the hijack. Nazar Buhaiov shoved for 214,000 from the cutoff, and Ihar Soika called from the big blind. The under-the-gun player and Dixon both folded.

Nazar Buhaiov: 1010 All in
Ihar Soika: KK

The runout of 7JQ7A changed nothing as Soika won the pot and sent Buhaiov home.

Blebea Tanks the River

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

There were around 300,000 chips in the pot on a board of 4J49 when James Broom fired a bet of 50,000 into Iulian Blebea, who called.

A K landed on the river and Broom gathered all but one of his chips and slid them forward, a bet of around 115,000. Blebea went deep into thought and took around two minutes before he eventually released his hand.
