Monnette was ahead with two pair until the Q♠ fell on the turn, giving Moncek queens and sixes. Monnette slammed the table in frustration as the 8♦ completed the board, earning Moncek a double up.
The remaining 28 players have been sent on their first 15-minute break of the day. Gus Hansen was the sole casualty of the first level of play so it could take a while before the field is whittled down to the money bubble.
In a three-way pot that checked through on the flop of 3♣J♦Q♠, Chris Brewer checked from the big blind on the 3♦ turn as Aaron Katz bet from under the gun. Maxx Coleman called in the cutoff and Brewer also called.
Brewer checked again on the 10♥ river and Katz bet once more. Coleman called and Brewer folded.
"You got it," Katz said in defeat as Coleman showed A♥K♦7♦4♣ for Broadway. "If you don't try, you can't win."

Fifth street saw Rogers bet again. This time he was able to get two folds as neither Ivey nor Chidwick wanted to stick around any longer in the pot to send Rogers some much needed chips.

Pisarenko bet again, finding a call to the final card. Wilkinson tapped the table again before Pisarenko fired one last bet. Wilkinson checked his cards and slid out the call.
Pisarenko showed 10x2xAx for and eight-five, taking down the pot as Wilkinson mucked.
