Li was on his way to double up after he hit top pair on a board of 98JA. But the 5 completed the board, giving a set to Belforti and sending Li to the rail in 23rd place for $24,697.

Harmon Calls Two Streets

Thomas Clack opened 200,000 in the cutoff and Wayne Harmon defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of 1073 and Harmon check-called a bet of 260,000.

When the Q fell on the turn Harmon checked once again and Clack fired 600,000. Harmon thought about it for a few moments and made the call.

The 7 paired the board on the river, and both players tapped the table. Harmon rolled J10 for top pair on the flop and Clack mucked his hand.

Both players checked the 9KJ flop leading to the 5 turn where Tkatschew bet 200,000. Harmon called.

The 7 river landed on the felt and Tkatschew decided to go all-in for 470,000. Harmon asked for the count and called with AJ for a pair. However Tkatschew had a better pair with K8 and doubled up.
