Yiannis Liperis opened 200,000 under the gun and Jiang Pu shoved his 950,000 on the button. Liperis quickly called and both hands were tabled.

Pu stood up from the table as he watched the dealer run out the 8♥2♠3♣6♦7♦ board, and sat back down as he let out a breath of fresh air.
Kunal Patni min-raised from under the gun to 200,000, and Noel Rodriguez called from the next seat. Benjamin Gold called from the small blind, and Paolo Boi made it 700,000 from the big blind. Patni called off his last few chips, then Rodriguez and Gold folded.

Patni was awarded the pot after he hit a full house on the 5♥A♥6♦6♥6♣ board, which kept him in contention and perhaps the start of comeback.
Pei Li opened from under the gun. Then Justin Belforti, in the big blind, raised all in and Li called, being the player at risk for 1,270,000.

Li was on his way to double up after he hit top pair on a board of 9♥8♠J♦A♦. But the 5♣ completed the board, giving a set to Belforti and sending Li to the rail in 23rd place for $24,697.
Thomas Clack opened 200,000 in the cutoff and Wayne Harmon defended the big blind.
The dealer spread a flop of 10♦7♠3♣ and Harmon check-called a bet of 260,000.
When the Q♠ fell on the turn Harmon checked once again and Clack fired 600,000. Harmon thought about it for a few moments and made the call.
The 7♣ paired the board on the river, and both players tapped the table. Harmon rolled J♠10♣ for top pair on the flop and Clack mucked his hand.

Wayne Harmon opened to 250,000 from the hijack and he was called by Alexander Tkatschew who defended from the big blind.
Both players checked the 9♥K♠J♣ flop leading to the 5♦ turn where Tkatschew bet 200,000. Harmon called.
The 7♣ river landed on the felt and Tkatschew decided to go all-in for 470,000. Harmon asked for the count and called with A♠J♥ for a pair. However Tkatschew had a better pair with K♣8♠ and doubled up.
Jong Kim opened 200,000 in middle position and Kunal Patni jammed all in. Kim had 2,335,000 and snap called.

Patni ran into a monster and was unable to find a five as the dealer ran out the A♣Q♥6♣A♦3♣ board.
Alexandre Arnold shoved all in for 900,000 from under the gun and Tzur Levy put him at risk from the small blind.

Neither player improved on the 6♦8♣2♥6♠10♦ runout which meant Arnold was eliminated.
Benjamin Gold jammed in early position for 1,285,000 and Paolo Boi called next to act.

The A♦5♦4♦ flop gave Gold a flush draw along with two over cards to hit, and the 3♦ turn left Boi drawing to a chop. The 3♥ river changed nothing, sending the double to Gold.
