Life Outside Poker w/ Connor Richards is a new podcast for PokerNews that focuses on poker players with successful careers and lives outside of poker.

For the first episode, Connor Richards spoke with soap opera actress and high-stakes poker player Farah Fath Galfond, who talked about her acting career spanning more than a decade, first discovering poker in Atlantic City and balancing poker with raising a family.

Clements turned over 5♠4♦Q♠, while Wagner had 5♥3♥6♣. The table pointed out that Wagner also had the high with a pair of threes as he scooped the pot.

"I apologize. I misread my hand," Wagner told Clements.

"You should've read your hand right," Clements replied, laughing off the beat.

Jacob Hamed opened to 15,000 from the cutoff and received a call from Walter Chambers on the button before Madsen made a pot-sized raise to 63,000. Both opponents made the call.

The flop came 9♦9♥4♠. Madsen moved all in for about 85,000. Both players got out of the way and Madsen dragged in a healthy pot without having to go to showdown.

Yarron Bendor raised under the gun before Clinton Wolcyn reraised in the cutoff. Daniel Weinman reraised on the button, Bendor folded, while Wolcyn put in another raise.

Weinman called and they both drew one. Wolcyn then bet and Weinman called all in.

Weinman stood pat the last two draws, while Wolcyn took one on the second draw then stood pat. He finished with an eight-low and Weinman mucked as he headed for the exit.

On another table, Shaun Deeb finished off Julien Martini in a hand of Pot-Limit Omaha.

Chino Rheem completed from the hijack and received a call from Roland Israelashvili in the big blind. Both players drew one.

After the first draw Israelashvili check-called a bet from Rheem and drew one while Rheem stood pat.

Israelashvili check-called another bet from Rheem after the second draw.

"I'm stubborn" Israelashvili told his opponent as he drew one for the final draw.

"I don't blame you" Rheem replied while standing pat. "I just hope you don't hit".

With no draws remaining Israelashvili bet. Rheem raised to two big bets and Israelashvili raised to three big bets. This time Rheem opted to fold and Israelashvili dragged in a sizable pot without showdown.

Doug Polk's Team Purchases What Will Become the Largest Poker Room in Texas

Earlier this month, thanks to an unfavorable city vote, Doug Polk was unsuccessful in his bid to open a massive poker room in a town near Dallas. But his team of investors, including poker vloggers Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen, are back and ready to take over what will soon become the largest card room in Texas.

Polk, who is playing in the Hustler Casino Live Million Dollar Game this week, announced during Wednesday's HCL stream that his team has purchased Rounders Card Club in San Antonio. The group already owns The Lodge Card Club in Round Rock, a suburb of Austin, and that room is currently the biggest in the Lone Star State with over 70 poker tables.

"I hate you Shaun," Martini told tablemate Shaun Deeb.

"I'll help you sweat it out," Deeb said, coming over to give Martini a shoulder rub as Hamed and Chambers built a side pot.

Chambers bet on both sixth and seventh, with Hamed calling both bets. Chambers showed A♥A♠3♣ for trips and a low, while Hamed had 6♥5♣3♦ for two pair and a low.

Martini turned over 4♣3♠2♠ for a seven-low and chopped the main pot with Chambers, while Chambers and Hamed chopped the side pot.

"This is for five years of friendship," Deeb said as he gave Martini a hug.

"My chances were not so good," Martini added.
