Churko Gets an Early Double

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Action folded around to Khloe Churko on the button and she raised to 400. The big blind was the only caller and the players when heads-up to the flop.

The dealer brought the A54, and the big blind raised to 1,000. Churko re-raised to 2,500 and the big blind called.

The 7 was turned and the big blind bet out 2,500. Churko raised to 6,000 and the big blind called behind, taking them to the 8 river.

The big blind opted to check and Churko moved all in for her remaining 11,000 stack. The big blind made a quick call and the players flipped their hands.

Khloe Churko: AQAll in
Big Blind: A2

Both players had a pair of aces, but Churko had the better queen kicker. The big blind was left with just 600 chips after the hand.

Castelli Wins a Big Early One With a Full House

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Action was caught on the river Q610Q9. The pot had balooned to 16,000, before Mitzi Castelli bet 5,000 on the river from the small blind.

Kelly Williams, who was in middle position, went into the tank, thinking for a couple of minutes before putting in the call. Castelli turned over 66 for the flopped set and turned full house, and Williams mucked. She later said she had trip queens.

Feitosa Makes A Huge First Hand

Level 1 : Blinds 100/100, 100 ante

Daniele Feitosa had quite the opening hand to her event. Action was caught on the turn of AxQx8x6x and Michelle Richey bet 800 from the small blind. Feitosa raised to 2,600 and Richey, after some thinking, folded.

Freitosa turned over AxAx for flopped set of aces and said this was her first hand. Richey said she also had an ace, but her instincts were strongly telling her to fold.
