Tamao Kobayashi raised to 20,000 from under the gun and action folded to Melanie Kaye who shoved for 103,000 from the button. Kobayashi called and the players flipped thier cards.

Kaye was ahead with the bigger pocket pair and the J♦6♥10♦ flop also came her way, giving her the set.

The 2♠ turn and Q♠ river sealed the double for Kaye and left Kobayashi with a short stack after the hand.

In the next hand on the same table, Melanie Kaye raised from the cutoff to 20,000 and got two calls from the blinds, Janet Kanstrup and Kami Hudson.

Three players saw the 9♥2♣6♥ flop. Kanstrup checked and so did Hudson, but Kaye raised to 35,000. Kanstrup called and Hudson folded, taking the players heads-up to the turn.

The 3♦ was turned and Kanstrup checked. Kaye raised to 75,000 and Kanstrup called.

The players checked down the A♣ river and showed their hands. Kaye won the pot with 10♣10♥ and Kanstrup showed K♥J♥.
