2024 World Series of Poker
Chris Quirijnen moved all in preflop for 16,000 and was called by Xavier Kyablue.
Chris Quirijnen: A♣Q♥
Xavier Kyablue: A♥9♥
Quirijnen was ahead but not for very long as the flop came 10♥5♥2♥ to give Kyablue the nut flush and leave Quirijnen drawing dead to make the turn and river irrelevant.
Orestis Kanakopoulos raised on the button and Esther Taylor shoved for approximately 5,000 from the big blind. Kanakopoulos called to put Taylor at risk and hands were revealed.
Esther Taylor: J♦J♣
Orestis Kanakopoulos: A♠8♠
Taylor was ahead and remained ahead on the 10♣8♣3♣ flop and 9♥ turn; however, the A♦ river improved Kanakopoulos to two pair and Taylor was eliminated.
The player under the gun raised, receiving calls from Billy Baxter in early position, Haim Gabay in middle position and Maksim Paniak, in the big blind.
All four players checked the Q♠8♠7♣ flop through to the 2♣ on the turn. Paniak took the lead for 2,600 and only Gabay called.
The K♠ river slowed down Paniak as he check-called a bet of 5,000 from Gabay. Gabay tabled J♠10♠ for a rivered flush.
A player sitting under the gun opened the action with a raise to 1,200. Joshua Feiger three-bet to 3,000 from the hijack before the cutoff four-bet to 8,000. The small blind put in another preflop raise, this one to 22,000 but Feiger six-bet jammed for 188,000. The small blind player went into the tank but wasn't ready to risk his Main Event life just yet as he released his cards back to the dealer.
Parker Talbot raised to 1,100 in the cutoff and Peter Nigh called in the big blind.
The flop came 2♣8♦9♦ and Talbot bet 800. Nigh called and the 9♠ fell on the turn.
Talbot then bet 4,500 and Nigh called once more. Nigh checked to Talbot again on the 9♣ river, and Talbot checked back this time.
Nigh showed 6♥6♦ for a full house and Talbot mucked.
