Two Streets of Value for Ketzer

A player in the cutoff opened to 500 and received calls from a player on the button and Felipe Ketzer in the big blind.

The flop came 1086 and Ketzer led out with a bet of 500. Only the player in the cutoff called.

Ketzer fired another barrel for 1,000 on the 5 turn that was called by his opponent.

Both players checked the Q river. Ketzer turned over 107 for a pair of tens which was good enough to take the pot.

Lambrecht Looking to Keep it Going

Recent winner of Event #76: $10,000 Mystery Bounty No'Limit Hold'em, Matthew Lambrecht was spotted in action on Day 1c.

He bet 700 on a flop showing KK4 which was enough to cause his opponent to fold his hand to get a modest chip up to start the day.

Dolan Takes it Down

Action picked up three-ways with Mike Dolan having position on a player in the small blind and a player to his immediate right.

The dealer fanned 64Q on the board, and the player in the small blind led out with a 1,000 bet. The player to Dolan’s right called, and Dolan raised to 2,000. Both opponents called.

The dealer placed 8 on the turn and both opponents checked. Dolan bet 1,400, which forced out the player in the small blind. The player to Dolan’s right called.

The 9 appeared on the river, resulting in checks from Dolan and his opponent.

Dolan tabled KQ for a pair of queens and the his final opponent folded.

Weissman Wins With King-High

On a board of A47A there were around 4,000 chips in the pot when the big blind and Joey Weissman both checked.

The 3 river was also checked through and the big blind tabled QJ. Weissman then flipped K9 for king-high and took the pot.

Kabrhel Loses an Early Four-Bet Pot

Jared Hemingway opened to 600 and was thee-bet to 3,000 by Martin Kabrhel out of the small blind. Hemingway then four-bet to 10,000 and Kabrhel made the call.

The flop of 7A10 was checked by both players to see the 9 fall on the turn. The action checked through and the Q appeared on the river.

Kabrhel thought briefly before he made bet of 24,000. Hemingway snap-called and was shown 95 by Kabrhel for a pair of nines. This was second best to the QQ of Hemingway for a set of queens.

Jeganathan Cracks Kings

Gajan Jeganathan opened from under the gun, the cutoff called and the button three-bet. Both Jeganathan and the cutoff called.

The pot was around 5,500 as all three players headed to the 8J7 flop. The action checked to the button, who bet out 2,000. Both opponents called.

The Q turn saw both Jeganathan and the cutoff play in flow. The button bet out 3,000 and Jeganathan check-raised to 10,800. The cutoff folded and the button called.

The 8 river checked to a showdown. Jeganathan tabled JJ for a flopped set, while the button mucked KK face up.

Taylor Shows the Bluff

Nicholas Maimone opened to 600 from the hijack and was called by Stuart Taylor in the cutoff.

The flop came J47. Maimone bet 600, Taylor raised to 2,400 and Maimone called.

Maimone check-called a 3,800 bet from Taylor on the 5 turn leading to the A river. Maimone checked, Taylor bet 11,000 and after about a minute Maimone decided to fold.

"Missed double belly-buster. Nine-high like a boss," Taylor announced before showing 98 for the missed draw turned into a bluff.

"No guts, no glory," Johnny Chan, who was at the same table, commented as Taylor dragged in the pot.

Zimmerman Wins With Trips

Asi Moshe opened to 600 from the hijack and was called by Diane Zimmerman on the button and the player in the small blind. The player in the big blind then squeezed to 4,000 and only Zimmerman called.

Zimmerman called a 3,000 bet from her opponent on the A72 flop and a 7,500 bet from him on the A turn.

Both players checked down on the 9 river and the big blind showed K10.

Zimmerman tabled AJ for trip aces and collected the pot.

Gross continued for 400 on the 6AA flop, and the button stuck around.

The action was then checked to showdown on the 86 runout where Gross tabled KJ and the button flipped KQ which resulted in a chopped pot.
