Irene Carey and Alen Bakovic pointed out the details of a recent elimination, which happened to be none other than Huck Seed. According to both, Seed four-bet jammed for 52,000 with the 7♠6♠ and was called by Tanner Rose with the AxKx.
Seed picked up outs with the 8♠8♣4♣ flop and Q♠ turn but the Q♥ river ended his run in just five hands.
Action picked up preflop in a hand with a player all in against Mukul Pahuja, who had his opponent covered.

The dealer fanned 5♣4♠5♥ on the board, keeping Pahuja’s pocket pair in the lead. The situation didn’t change when 7♦ showed up on the turn.
The Q♠ on the river provided a moment of anxiety, especially when Puhuja’s opponent thought the paint card was a king.
But the card didn’t help and Puhuja won the pot to send his opponent to the rail.
Heads-up on a flop of 6♣4♦9♦, Rassoul Malboubi bet 5,000 from the small blind before an opponent under the gun moved all in for 22,000. Malboubi called to put him at risk.

Malboubi was ahead with top pair, while his opponent had a flush draw to go with his overcards. The 5♥ turn was safe for Malboubi, while the 10♠ river secured him the pot and sent his opponent to the rail.
Around 30,000 was in the pot as Elliot Smith and an opponent saw the turn on a board of 4♦2♥6♠7♠.
The cutoff then bet 20,000 before Smith, in early position, moved all in for 75,000. His opponent went deep into the tank, taking several minutes to consider the decision.
Smith spent the time kneeling on the ground as his opponent continued to tank. The cutoff eventually apologized to the table and slid his cards back to the dealer as Smith took down the pot.
Chris Hunichen and Daniel Lowery were recently eliminated from this section.
Action was picked up with 9,000 in the pot, and the board showing 3♦4♥7♣.
Shane Uttley checked in the small blind when Jiaming Wang bet all in for 11,700. Andrew Ding in early position made the call, and Landon Tice on the button folded. That is when Shane Uttley raised to 40,000, which got Ding to fold, leaving Uttley and Wang heads up.

Uttley flopped a set of fours but would have to fade an ace or six as Wang had an open-ended straight draw. But when the board ran out 9♣ on the turn, and 7♠ on the river, Uttley improved to a full house, and eliminated Wang.
Dominic Rickard moved all in for 15,500 from under the gun and an opponent in the hijack called. Alexandre Pruneau then reshoved for 36,700 in the small blind and the hijack tanked for a minute before calling once more, having both opponents covered and at risk.

Pruneau was ahead with his pair of kings as the board ran out J♥9♠6♠9♣5♣. Rickard found no help and was eliminated, while Pruneau secured the double up and knockout.
Action folded around to the blinds, where Phil Ivey raised to 3,000 from the small blind and Ankit Ahuja three-bet to 10,500 from the big blind.
Ivey stuck in enough chips to put Ahuja all in for approximately 100,000 total and Ahuja called to put himself at risk.

Ahuja found himself in a bit of a cooler in the blind-versus-blind confrontation, and the K♣8♣Q♠4♦8♥ runout bricked out for Ahuja to send his chips Ivey's way.
David Marshall raised to 1,800 in middle position before Luis Rodas moved all in for around 25,000 in the cutoff. Marshall quickly called once action folded back to him.

Rodas needed to win the coin flip to stay alive, but the 9♠8♣K♥ flop gave Marshall top pair and the lead. The rest of the board ran out 7♥3♠ to end Rodas' Main Event.
After the hand, Rodas handed table neighbor Tom Dwan, who had only just taken his seat at this table, a miniature waving cat figurine as a parting gift.
