Campbell Picks Off a Bluff

Michael Campbell raised to 4,000 in the hijack, the small blind three-bet to 16,000, and Campbell called.

The flop came Q73 and the small blind led out for 11,000. Campbell called and both players checked the 9 turn.

The small blind fired out another 25,000 on the 4 river and Campbell quickly called. His opponent snap-mucked his hand and Campbell took the pot without a showdown.

Right Call Goes Unrewarded as Slobodskoy Doubles on the River

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

[Removed:499] and an opponent in the small blind saw the turn on a board of 2652. The small blind then bet 19,500 and Slobodskoy moved all in for 65,000 in the hijack.

The small blind tanked for a few minutes before calling with 96, while Slobodskoy had AK for a flush draw. The A river didn't complete his flush, but Slobodskoy spiked a pair of aces to win the pot and double up.

Whitton Folds to Weisner's Pressure

Michael Whitton raised to 3,000 from middle position and was three-bet to 10,000 by Melanie Weisner on the button. Action folded back to Whitton, who called.

Whitton checked-called Weisner's 8,000 bet on the 3J5 flop, and then both players checked on the A turn.

The 10 completed the board, and Whitton checked once more. Weisner fired 21,000 into the middle and Whitton didn't take long to lay his hand down.

Landon Tice rasied to 3,000 from the hijack, and when it folded to the small blind Christoph Csik, he three-bet to 12,000. After the big blind folded, Tice made the call.

The flop came 2QK Csik bet out 10,500, and Tice made the call.

Both players checked on the A turn.

The river was the 2 and Csik bet out 9,000. After quickly thinking over his decision, Tice made the call.

Csik tabled AJ, and Tice tossed his cards in the muck to give the pot to Csik.
