Higa Accepts His Fate

Level 18 : Limits 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

While still hand-for-hand, John Higa had been all in, in the big blind with just a single 1,000 denomination chip. He somehow scooped that hand to increase his stack to 3,000 right before the bubble burst, eventually making it into the money.

After doubling up after the break in another blind vs blind battle, he was finally thwarted when he was unable to improve against George Chen's pair of queens.
