Wick Finds an Ace to Double Through Chaney

Level 34 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Sascha Wick moved all in for his last 2,800,000 from early position, and Joshua Chaney made the call from middle position. With the rest of the table getting out of the way, the two went heads-up to a showdown.

Sascha Wick: A9All in
Joshua Chaney: 1010

Wick was behind and needed to connect with the board to stay alive. The dealer obliged, spreading A882K, giving Wick top pair and the winning hand. Chaney was left with just 450,000 as Wick scored the double-up.

Blackwood Wins a Big Pot

Level 34 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Alex Paredes opened on the cutoff and got a call from Gary Blackwood. The flop showed Q34. Paredes checked, Blackwood bet 450,000, and got a reraise from Paredes to 1,100,000. After some thinking, Blackwood called, the turn showed a 8. Both checked the river, which showed an A on the board.

Paredes checked, but Blackwood was not ready yet to show his hand and raised to 2000000. Paredes folded his hand, giving a huge pot to Blackwood.

Anderson Eliminates Two with Rivered Trips

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

It was a three way all-in and a double elimination on Table #533.

Thomas Savitsky open-jammed all-in for 1,200,000 from late position and got called by Joshua Zapalac, who covered him. Jared Anderson in the big blind, however, snap called putting both the other players at risk.

Thomas Savitsky: KJ All in
Joshua Zapalac: 99 All in
Jared Anderson: AQ

Zapalac was ahead pre-flop but that immediately changed when the flop fell Q3K , giving Savitsky top pair and a potential triple up. The turn 5 didn't improve either Zapalac's or Anderson's hand.

The lead and the victory, however, transferred to Anderson when the Q fell on the river giving him trips and ending Savitsky's and Zapalac's tournament run.

Wick Makes a Move and Gets Paid

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Kenneth Kim raised to 600,000 on the button before the flop and Sascha Wick moved all in for 2,850,000. Kim called.

Kenneth Kim: 33

On a jack-high flop of J58, Wick took the lead with a pair of jacks.

The turn brought a 5, which meant Kim needed one of the two remaining possible threes in the deck.

A river card of the 10 sent a nice pot Wick's way with the action ramping up towards the final table bubble.

Vandyke Outkicks Antezana

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

The hand was ongoing with Edgar Antezana betting 450,000 on a flop of 7Q8 with 650,000 chips already in the pot. Daniel Vandyke, the other player in the hand, called taking both of them to see the next street.

Both players checked down the turn A and the river 9. The hands were tabled showing Antezana with 84 and Vandyke with 108.

Both players hit a pair of eight on the flop and initially Antezana claimed that it should be a split pot until one of the players pointed out that Vandyke's kicker played.
