Joshi Scores with a Pair of Queens

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Wagner Wysotchanski raised on the button to 4,000, and Dhaval Joshi called from the big blind. The flop came down with 10Q8 and Joshi checked to the preflop raiser, who bet out 4,500. Joshi made the call.

The turn 7 saw another bet from Wysotchanski after Joshi checked. Joshi quickly called again.

On the river J, both players checked and Joshi stated, "I just have a queen", and showed AQ, and Wysotchanski mucked.

Jose Esparza opened to 2,400 from the button, and Wagner Wysotchanski called from the small blind.
The flop came K75 and both players checked. Action checked through again on the 3 turn.

On the 9 river, Wysotchanski led out for 5,000. Esparza quickly called, but just as quickly mucked when Wysotchanski tabled 33 for a turned set. Esparza gave a respectful rap on the table as the pot slid Wagner’s way.

Protect Your Cards!

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Michael Schubert called an early position raise before seeing Paulo Villena Gini move all in behind him.

Schubert, considering a call, looked down to see he had no cards in front of him! The dealer had accidentally mucked them.

The floor was called, and a ruling was made. His original call stays in the pot and Villena Gini was awarded the pot.

"I just move all in because I see you don't have cards", said Villena Gini, before letting his opponent know he was only joking and he had a good hand.

Schubert at least keeps hold of his remaning stack, no such luck for Villena Gini, who was eliminated the very next hand!

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

John Duran was sitting in the cutoff position and moved all in for 30,700 and received a call from Brynley Thomas, who was on the button, and put in his last 20,800.

Brynley Thomas: AQ All in
John Duran: AA

Thomas groaned when he witnessed the aces but the board was in his favor with Q82QK and trips was enough to double up and cripple Duran's stack.
